There are a couple updates I would like to see on wattpad in the future. Wattpad if you are reading this please take notes.
ONE: we should be able to like comments! That would be an amazing update. I have seen some comments that I would just love to like a hundred times over. Come on wattapd you slacking. Even Instagram lets you like comments now. It's time to move forward into the future.
TWO: okay wattpad, we need to be able to comment audios because again that would be another amazing update. That way people can hear me screaming in anguish when something frustrating happens in a book I'm reading. Cause sometimes there are no words to express my frustration.
THREE: this also has to do with commenting (notice how most of them do) we should be able to comment actual pictures, not just gifs. And I don't mean like post the link and it shows up (because sometimes it doesn't) I mean comment pictures straight from your camera roll. Cause sometimes I have a meme that is super funny and matches what I'm reading but I can't share it and therefore I can't share my laughs and spread the love 😕
FOUR: you know how you can put music in the beginning of a chapter in this bar thingy-

-and then listen to the music the entire chapter? But if you put like a video or song in the actual chapter text like this-

-you have to stay on the video and listen otherwise it won't play. Well wattpad should update it so that you can play the music/and or video and still be able to read the chapter.
OR
They update it to where you can put more than one song in the bar thingy. And more than one picture too.
FIVE: okay now this has do with PM. Why can't we send pictures through PM🤔 that needs to change ASAP. Like I understand videos might be asking for too much but pictures...cmon now. Also you can't sent emojis through PM either and that's kinda annoying... you can only send 😃 and ❤️...
SIX: wattapd needs to have group chats instead of messaging one person at a time or posting on their message board. Plus when you post on someone's message board everyone can see it, even people who don't follow you. It would be nice to just create a group and add wattpad users to it to discuss stories and stuff ya know? Annnnnnd it's a good way to get yourself out there ;)
SEVEN: I think this is an update we'd all really like to see and really appreciate. Guess what it has to do with? That's right, commenting. There needs to be an update that if you reply to someone else's comment that you don't get the 50+ notifications of other people replying to it. Cause that is just annoying. See it's different when it's your comment. Of course you want to see peoples replies to your own comment. But when it's someone else's? Then it's just annoying. Unless the person is directly addressing you in which case they should tag you so you know they're speaking directly to you. Not to mention it's annoying when your notifications are being blown up like that and it gives people false hopes. You open up wattapd and see 70+ notifications thinking "omg someone is voting and commenting on my story" only to realize it's just someone replying to a comment that you didn't even make 😑
EIGHT: please please pleaseeeeee make it so you can access your archived books without needing wifi. Please and thank you :)
Well that's all the updates I can think of! I'm sure there's more and if I think of any I'll make a part two of this rant. What are some updates that you'd like to see?
