Haikus?

I'm trying something

Writing haikus, not free verse

Let's see how this goes

LOL, it will so fail

But I thought it would be fun

So, well, here you are:

Everything is cold

Frosted over by her glare

Ice is in her eyes

Everything is hot

Flames and ash swirl from her hands

Fire is in her rage

Everything is bright

Light and breath and joy and gold

Life is in her laugh

Everything is dead

Bleak and blackened by her pain

Cold is in her tears
