Tairon's pov

I was lying in my bed, listening​ to the trembling voice of Aiden who was telling me who was Evan.

"You know, I loved him so much. And I think I'm not over him completely. I think I won't ever be over him. But now I have you. I am really falling hard for you. Everything you do amaze me. The way your eyes sparkle when you talk about football. The way you smile and the way you frown when you're trying to understand something. I can't say I like you anymore because I think I'm in love."

"Aiden..."

"You don't have to respond the same. I know you like to take things slowly."

He paused. I heard him breathing through the phone.

"Do you still love Evan?" I asked hesitantly.

"I...,"he paused and sighed,"I don't know..."

"Thank you Aiden."

"For what?"

"For loving me just like I love you."

I could feel his smile. He chuckled.

"You're the only one to know about that, keep it to yourself, please."

"Sure."

"Now it's your turn. Why don't you play the cello?"

"I've already told you..."

"Yeah. But right now. Why don't you play the cello for me?"

"Uh..."

I looked at my instrument lying on the ground like it was sleeping. Maybe I could try? But it's been years since I have last played. What if it was crappy?

I put the phone on loud-speaker and took hold of my cello and the bow. I closed my eyes and started to play. It was weird because my head didn't remember any notes but my hands did. As I finished, I heard claps from my phone.

"You should play more often." Aiden said.

"Maybe..."

I meant it this time.

Someone knocked on my door.

"I'll call you later, bye."

"Bye."

I opened the door to reveal my parents.

"You played," my father said.

"Yeah..." I said smiling.

"It was for him, right?"asked my mother.

"Him?" I asked.

"The boy on the phone."

I blushed.

"Yeah, uhm... It was Aiden... We are dating...."

"Oh.. I need to meet him then." Said my father.

"Why?"
