My Summer Love

CHAPTER 11

(Elena's POV)

★When I look into your eyes

It's like watching the night sky

Or a beautiful sunrise

There's so much they hold

And just like them old stars ★ I closed my eyes to enjoy the song.

“‘i won't give up' from Jason Mraz?" Austin asked. Still with my eyes closed I nodded. “ok! Then. From now on, this will be our song!" he said.

Our song? How? I opened my eyes in confusion. He was clearing his throat  with a mischievous smirk. He slowly stood up. Oh no. Please don't do what I'm thinking you're going to do.

Omg here it comes. “ I won't give up on us

Even if the skies get rough

I'm giving you all my love

I'm still looking up" he stopped to laugh. But soon continued.

By this time, I had covered my face with embarrassment. I removed my palms off my face and looked at Austin, who was singing with all his power. “Austin, you can dance but definitely not sing!" I laughed. I looked around to see everyone in the restaurant staring at us. Mostly the elder people had their noses crunched, maybe because of anger or the loud, not so listenable voice of Austin.

Austin suddenly stopped singing, that totally got my attention. I turned my head back to him. “holy cr* p!" I gasped seeing his face about 2 inches from mine. “Elena's come on! You know, you wanna do this too! Join me." he smiled waiting for my response.

NOO I DONT. I do love this song and sing it all the time when i'm alone. But here? Noway.

He leaned in and wisphered “elena you are going to miss the best part!". I bit my lower lip, deciding on what to do. Ok I give up. I so wanna sing!

“But these people?" I looked at Austin.

“ Fu* k them!." he laughed.

I gave him a mischievous smirk and stood up.

“ Cause even the stars they burn

Some even fall to the earth

We've got a lot to learn

God knows we're worth it

noo i wont give up" we both sung our throats out. And damn it was fun! Even though I knew I was a terrible singer, more like a crying whale, I didn't care.

We kept on singing while the others looked at us as if a huge UFO just landed on our heads. I Smiled at him. And then, the best part came, “I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily

Im here to stay and make the diffe—" nooo! We were interrupted when a huge man in a suit stopped infront of us. Austin and I exchanged looks and with that,  we sat down innocently.

“Is there any problem sir?" Austin asked firmly taking a sip of water from the glass infront of him. I also took a sip to control my laughs.

The man stood there with his eyes wide for a minute. He then cleared his throat and looked back at Austin. “Uh,  yes. We have been getting complains from the other customers. That you two are really. LOUD" he waited.

“I'm sorry?" Austin stood up looking angry. “My wife and I came here to peacefully eat. And all we get is this?" he looked at me as soon as he Finished.

I got his hint and so I stood up. “let's go honey! I don't like this place!" I rolled my eyes at the big man infront of me.

“we are never, ever comming here." he Forcefully took out some money out of his pocket and placed it on the table. “com'on darling we are going out of this place!" he grabbed my hand and led me out of there.

After walking a while, we stopped and looked at each other. Some seconds later,  we burst out in laughter. “omg. I don't believe. What. Just. Happened" I managed to get some words out between my laughs.

He laughed grabbing his stomach with his left hand and still holding my hand on his right. Slowly our laughes faded when our eyes met each others. After staring at me for a while, He gently placed his left palm on the side of my neck. And With my heart pounding crazy and my knees shaking, I nervously took a step toward him. He interlocked our fingers and leaned to me. But stopped about 1 cm away from my lips. I felt his breath on my neck which made me shiver. He chuckled. And just before our lips touched, he tightened his his fingers that held my small hand.
