My Summer Love

CHAPTER 13

After the kiss yesterday, I literally didn't sleep the whole night. The kiss part kept playing on repeat in my head. And i have to say, i enjoyed it every single time. It was a shame that she had to leave soon because of the call from her dad, but we are meeting today.

"Woah, she's late. Why do girls do that? I really don't get that logic" I muttered to myself while taking a seat. I was on our usual meeting place, RIHITO (the open bar with the roof ). Since we decided to do some sightseeing nearby, i had managed to look a little decent. Just when i pulled my phone out of my jeans pocket, i heard footsteps behind, nearing me.

Without turning back, i looked at the time and said with a little chuckle, "Miss, you are exactly 26 minutes and 32, now 33 seconds late!".

Since, i didn't hear any answer, i turned myself back in confusion. What i saw, was a sad/upset Elena and an unfamiliar guy beside her. He stood there, with his arms folded while Elena started at her shoes below.

I started getting bad thoughts, seeing his face with that proud smirk. So i roughly asked, "And who are you?".

Stepping forward he said, "I'm Zack. You must be.. what was the name again?.. oh yeah, Austin".

Zack? As in, the ex boyfriend of Elena? But he was in New York. "Give Elena a message that I'm coming" he said on the phone yesterday. Fu*k so this was the thing i forgot to tell Elena. But i seriously didn't think he would come here. Whatever the reason he's here, i will end this. He has bothered her enough already.

Finally coming back to reality, i looked at Elena. She still stood there without even looking at me for a second. I understood the situation somehow. She probably want to clear all the things still left between them.

"Elena told me everything about the two of you. So tell me, why are you here?" I folded my arms.

He laughed for a second and answered "and why the fuck do i have to tell You that? Oh wait, didn't you say you were her boyfriend? Haha.".

In no time, Elena looked up to meet my eyes. She had that shocked 'ohmygod' look. But i could definitely see her controlling her smile. I ignored her and looked back that the assh*Le. "Dude! Just say what you came for and Leave!! This will be the last time i'll ever see you near her!".

He stood there with that smile that really started to piss me off. He then faced himself to Elena."Look Elena. I want to explain what happened these 2 months. Ashley... sh-".

Elena suddenly looked up at him. "Seriously Zack? your so called explanation starts with Ashley? THE GIRL, you cheated on me with. Wow! You know, what? i don't want to hear your explanations anymore. I actually can't believe that i agreed to listen to you. What was i even expecting?".

With his eyebrows narrowed, he took a step towards Elena. But before that, I walked beside her and said roughly. "You heard her. Now Piss off".

I expected a rude answer or some action or at least something like that, but he just took two steps back with a really sad look.

"Elena, I will someday tell you everything, but till then i'll let you be. you will regret for not listening to me now! Goodbye Elena." he said before walking away.

What was that all about? I stood there confused but soon turned back to Elena who had a blank face. "Elena, you ok? He's gone! don't worry. He won't bother you anymore" i placed my hands on her shoulder trying to calm her.

In a few seconds, she suddenly wrapped her arms around me and rested her head on my

chest. "Thank you so much Austin. If you weren't here, I could not have trusted myself to say all that." Slowly i felt some tears on my chest. Without any words, i kissed her forehead and rested my chin on her head.
