My head hurt. I tried to reach a hand up to it, but I was restrained by a straitjacket. I was in a white padded room. My wings were. Bound together. I tried to speak, but a shrill sound came out, I stopped. They must have known I was up because a nurse came into my room then lead me to another. She untied my straitjacket and I looked around.
The only things in the room was a table and two chairs. I sat in one as the nurse left. A doctor walked in and sat down across from me. I tried to speak, this time it worked. Barley. "Where's Maverick?" I asked, my voice sounding like sandpaper. "You nearly killed him." The doctor said. "W-what?!" I responded, shocked. "After you fell, you attacked him. He is in intensive care now." The doctor said blandly. "Th-that's not possible.!" I exclaimed, slamming my fist against the table. "I would NEVER do anything like that to Maverick! Let me see him!" I yelled, shaking the doctors shoulders.
He pressed a button on the table and other doctors rushed into the room. "No! Stop! I need to see Maverick! Let. Me. Go!" I screamed, thrashing as doctors grabbed me.
All of the sudden, my Wings burst from their restraints and spread wide. I felt a rush of adrenaline. My wings started tingling. Then they burst into flames. I couldn't feel them. But the nurses and doctors could. They screamed in agony. The flames engulfed the entire room, then the hospital. But they wouldn't touch me. I started flying, I got the hang of it quickly.
I flew through the hole burned in the ceiling, and past the walls surrounding the hospital. The hospital was surrounded with a forest, isolated from the world. I flew to a tree and sat down on a branch. "Maverick, where are you!" I yelled to the sky.
As if someone heard me, I saw Maverick, tied to a table with blood red eyes. He was laughing hysterically. He was demanding to see me, he wanted to hurt me. "I must have done this." I whispered putting my face in my hands. "I... I destroyed Maverick."
