When I awoke I was elated. I was happy, and couldn't think if I wanted too. I sat in a whit room with a screen in it. The screen turned on and a girl with greying hair was being displayed.
"Hello, do you remember your name?" She asked I was about to answer, but found I couldn't speak, I simply didn't know how. "Hmmm... yes, you will do quite nicely" she said. I simply giggled at her, I didn't care what she was saying. A tall woman with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes walked in. Her wings were the same colour as her eyes. She grasped my hands and looked me in the eyes as soon as she did I felt drowsy once again. The room began to spin and then a piercing scream was the only sound I could hear.
I realized that I had slashed the girl with my fingernails. I must have been asleep for a while, my fingernails are always kept short. I tried to stand up, but I fell back down. The girl had left the room, face bleeding. It felt good, knowing that I hurt someone.
I felt a surge of power, knowing I could harm someone so easily. I began laughing hysterically. I heard a sat fire, then everything went black again. I tried to sit upright, but the restraints wouldn't let me. I was tied down to a hospital bed, with scratches along my arms. I still felt dazed. I didn't care about the restraints. I just wanted to be happy. To feel that surge of power again. To be with... he had forgotten her name. The love of his life. He couldn't remember her face. I felt angry.
I didn't know why, I just did. I screamed. And I screamed. I didn't realize there was a screen in front of me until it turned on. The same grey-haired woman was on.
"Can you speak yet?" I haven't even thought about speaking. I try to say "yes" but my mouth won't work properly. It kept twitching into an insane smile. I couldn't open it without it going back into a smile. I realized I haven't been blinking. I tried, but couldn't close my eyes. I found the fact that I couldn't blink or speak amusing. I giggled to myself. "I see you like it here." The lady said smiling. "Would you like to stay here longer?" She asked. I couldn't stop myself. I nodded, or at least tried to with my restraints. "Good. Peter!" She yelled to someone off screen "up the dosage."
I realized a needle was injected into my arm, pumping a clear fluid into it. The flow was small, but then increased. My heart jumped. My adrenaline was making me shake. My smile widened. I saw my eyes in a mirror across from me they were a different colour from their normal green. They were bright red. I couldn't stand being tied up. Words failed me. I opened my mouth to yell, but I felt drowsy again. The fluid going into my arm was now red. My eyes closed and I fell asleep.
