JoJo sat at the bottom of the bowl of his least favorite skate park, throwing pebbles at the rim. Angel Olsen's Burn Your Fire For No Witness played loudly through his headphones, but he wasn't paying as much attention to the music as he usually did.

He wasn't crying anymore, but he was still pissed off at Leo for being such a dick. Another pebble hit the rim and ricocheted back into the basin, nearly hitting him in the eye. JoJo was proud of himself, at least a little bit, for managing to pull himself out of having a full-blown meltdown, because god dammit, he had felt like he was going to have one.

JoJo always tried to get himself out of meltdowns, but the thing was, he wasn't that good at it. He only went to one therapy session after getting diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, and he tried to utilize all the tools they discussed in those sixty minutes, but they didn't always work, and the tips he found online or in books didn't seem to do much either. Still, he would get himself away from the issue as well as possible, listen to his comfort music--Angel Olsen, Alkaline Trio, and Coma Cinema usually--and remind himself that things would be okay until the tidal-wave-like feelings of despair and abandonment subsided and he was able to regulate his breathing.

But he was still pissed off. His fingers found another pebble and he tossed it at the concrete rim with a dull clink.

He tried to convince himself he could be okay with Leo seeing other boys, but the truth was, he couldn't. He hated how possessive he got over his friend, but he couldn't help that either. When other people got too close, JoJo got scared that Leo would realize how clingy, stupid, and annoying he was and leave him. And if he did leave him? JoJo felt like he would have no other choice but to kill himself. And he hated how fucking crazy that sounded, but it was true.
