Twisted Fates (Ninjago Kai X Reader)

Chapter 30- Confusion.

You wake up to people surrounding you, asking you questions, attempting to comfort you but all you can think about is Kai. You thought he loved you, you thought that you two will be together forever. You thought that maybe you could help him... but no, he's got Skylar and her-her child. He will live a happily ever after with Skylar and his child while you, you will be broken forever trying to find someone who could love you and you love back. But that's impossible because you only love Kai but he only loves you right?

"-okay, I'm sorry!" You look up slightly and end up staring into Kai's eyes. His eyes full of sorrow, guilt and love. No the love isn't for you, it's for Skylar, the sorrow isn't for you it's for everyone else and the guilt... the guilt is for Cole because of their fight. Yeah, that's it.

"Y-You... d-don't c-c-care.... Kai." You whisper hoarsely, stuttering. He shakes his head violently and puts his hands on your shoulders. "Nononononono. No, Y/N I care! I care!" You let out a small, hollow laugh and turn your head away from him.

You take in your surroundings. You are laid down on your back on a bed. In a white and blue room. Medical room? Maybe because there is a bunch of machines stuffed in a corner and you only find them in hospitals or infirmaries.

"Y/N LOOK AT ME!" You hear Kai shout and you turn to face him with a dull look. You raise an eyebrow at him and he begins a long talk about it wasn't his fault, it was an accident and then Skylar told everyone that they were getting married and blah blah blah. You tuned out of most of it.

"-people started to believe her and started going on about how much of a cute couple we are and-"

"I want Cole." You cut him off and he looks at you with tears in his eyes. He nods his head slowly and walks out of the room, looking down and dragging his feet. You sit up and watch the door as he leaves.

Moments later, Cole walks in. As soon as the door is closed and he has stepped in you burst out crying. Cole is immediately at your side and hugging you. "I'm sorry I was so mean to you, Y/N. I was mad at Kai not you. And I'm sorry what he did to you, I'm here I'm always here." You rest your head in his neck and ball your eyes out while he strokes your hair and... to you, keeping you safe. Eventually you cry yourself to sleep in Cole's neck.

"Y/N. Y/N..... Oi L/N!" You pull your head up and look to see B/f/n staring at you from the desk across from you. You look down and try to remember where you are. But then you don't. You get very confused and whip your head around, looking at your surroundings. B/f/n gives you a weird look but you continue. And that when you realise where you are.

School.
