I myself am not queer, but I can still support a group of people who want - and deserve - nothing but happiness. People should not be shunned for loving someone, for their sexuality, for who they are. No one should have to hide due to the bitter fruit of hatred that was borne from this world. Look at it like this; the moon is blotted out by the dark clouds during a storm, and everything seems lost. Even though that flash of lightning is followed by the frightening roar of thunder, it still lights the path, even if it is temporarily. Those flashes of light are the happy moments in our life, and even though they may only seem to last so long, they light the path. And with enough of those happy moments, you'll be on your way and out of the storm in no time.
So, to anyone who might be experiencing that lack of lightning, you can always talk to me, you're welcome to open up if you want.
