Chapter Eight

Ashley's POV

I looked at Mitch's text starring at it, Mitch: "Depends what kind of sad? Like sad someone died sad or sad you feel so alone as your thoughts mentally chew you up bit by bit leaving you feeling helpless inside?"

His texts sounded like he had similar problems to me. . . I felt relieved that he wasn't judging me.

Ashley: "Depression sad." I texted back, I breathed heavily feeling my anxiety spike up, I soon regretted sending that text. I pulled my covers over my head sighing to myself, four more days Ashley. My phone vibrated, Mitch: "I can't wait till your here."

He had avoided my question.

Ashley: "What's the first thing we're going to do when I get there?"

Mitch: "Anything you'd like :)" I smiled reading his text.

I grabbed my keys and drawstring backpack pulling it onto my back. "Ashley! Party this Friday you’re going with me." She grinned.

That was the same day as my flight to Mitch, no way in hell I would trade him to go to a lame party. I was never the one to be at a party, I'm too antisocial.

"Can't Sadie I'm busy." I shut my locker turning towards her.

"Ashley! Collin's having his annual end of the school year party, it's his last one you need to go!" She whined.

"I'm not going, I have other plans." I followed her down the hallway.

"Like what?" She groaned as we turned to the right pushing through some doors before continuing to walk down a flight of stairs.

"I'm going to see Mitch." I watched as a smile formed on her face.

"Oh yes your boyfriend Mitch." She grinned.

"He's not my boyfriend Sadie, he's my friend just like Jerome, Noah, Palmer and everyone else." We turned to the right walking down another set of stairs then out of the school.

"Oh he's just a good friend then right?" She smirked.

"We're just friends Sadie, obviously you don't have any guy friends."

Of course she didn't have any guy friends, being a whore and all. All guys ever wanted her for what she could do and how well she could do it.

"I have my favorites." She said as we both walked across the crosswalk and into the parking lot.

That's right her 'favorites' she had five favorite guys. Her current boyfriend is usually number one followed by someone that she approved of or much rather someone who fucks her well. Third favorite she mentioned had the good looks along with a good body. Fourth favorite, one with not so much the looks or body figure but one that would comfort her when she was sad. Fifth favorite it didn't matter what he looked like or even if he had muscles just someone she had when she needed help with her homework. Only I knew about her favorites.

"Mitch is your third favorite isn't he?" We walked down the parking lot coming to Sadie's green mustang.

"I don't have favorites Sadie." I sighed unlocking my black mustang, I opened the driver’s side door sitting down in the driver’s seat I tossed my bag towards the passenger’s side. Shutting the car door I inserted the keys into the ignition hearing it roar to life, I pulled my seat belt down over me clicking it into place. I put the car into drive, driving forward towards the exit of the parking lot I stopped to look both ways before then pulling out.
