Chapter Sixteen

Ashley's POV

Letting out I sigh I fixed my bangs looking in the mirror, I just finished getting ready for Mitch and I's date tonight. I had curled my brown and blonde hair and done my makeup all nice (refer to the picture on the side)

I was wearing just a simple black tank top with my black hoodie and some dark jeans, I would have dressed up more but Mitch said I didn't need to. Turning to the side I let out I sigh, I felt so fat at the moment. Unplugging my curling iron I opened the door to see Mitch sitting at one of the barstools, he smiled looking up at me.

"Do I look okay?" I asked looking at what he had on.

Mitch had his red long sleeved American Eagle T-shirt on along with light jeans.

"Bootitful." He grinned standing up, walking over to me he grabbed my left hand.

"So where are we going?" I said walking out into the garage with him.

"It's a secret." He grinned letting go of my hand to open the passenger side door for me.

"Come on Biggums tell me." I said before he shut the door walking over to the driver’s side.

"Not a chance, you'll have to wait." Mitch said.

I looked up at the restaurant we had just pulled up at as I could feel butterflies gather in my stomach. Mitch grabbed my hand, "Don't get so nervous Ash, we're not going to see anyone here." I turned my head to look at him, he smiled.

"I can't help it, my anxiety spikes from these kinds of things." I said looking up at the exterior of the restaurant, the outside was absolutely beautiful.

"Don't worry I'll hold your hand." He smirked as I giggled.

He has always been the jokester.

Letting go off Mitch's hand I opened the passenger’s side car door stepping out.

Walking into the restaurant the lady who looked to be in her late 20's smiled at us.

"Do you have a reservation?" She spoke, Mitch grabbed my hand walking over to her.

"Yea, Hughes." He smiled turning towards me as I looked around.

The restaurant was packed with people chatting, drinking, and eating not to mention how beautiful it was inside. (Pictures to the side)

"Alright, follow me." The lady spoke again. Mitch pulled my hand to the right as I followed the lady down the restaurant, we came to a table with two chairs. Pulling out my chair I sat down across from Mitch.

"Is this okay?" He asked I reached across the table to grab his hand.

"It's amazing Mitch." I smiled I watched him look down.

"What's wrong?" I never noticed how stressed he looked until now.

"You can tell me if this sucks Poofy, I haven't been on a date in four years I might be out of the loop." Mitch sighed.

"Hey now, this is perfect first date I've ever had." I said, he looked up and smiled at me.

"How have you never been on a date before?" I shrugged.

"Boys weren't attracted to me I guess." I saw a smile form on his face before he chuckled.

"They must be blind then." I felt myself smile.

I couldn't believe I, Ashley Mariee Surcombe, was on a date with Mitch, the famous BajanCanadian. I've dreamed of this moment happening for a little over two years, Hell I've dreamed of getting out of England my whole life, now sitting in front of me was my future.
