Chapter Fifteen

Mitch's POV

I was doing well. . . It had been two days since I had a breakdown, but here I sat in the restaurant with Rob, Preston, and Ashley feeling my head start to pound again.

Every time when I had my attacks or breakdowns my head begins to pound and I feel this heavy weight on my chest, almost like I'm being buried alive.

I grabbed ahold of Ashley's hand as she turned to look at me, "I'll be right back." I said rubbing her hand, letting go I stood up walking to the back of the restaurant where the restrooms were located. Pushing the door open I looked to see if anyone else was inside, empty.

Turning towards the mirror I gripped my head resting my elbows on the countertop putting my head in between.

"You’re so stupid Mitch." Sara's voice said.

Lifting my head up she stood behind me, her brown hair had a red blood like tint and her skin was almost pure white with a bit of blood dripping down her forehead into her normal blue green eyes.

"She will never love you, admit it your borderline insane Biggums." I felt tears run down my face as I turned to look at her walking through her and into the handicap stall, locking the stall door I slouched myself into the corner putting my head in between my knees.

"You can't ignore me forever Mitch." I could feel Sara's cold dead fingers run across my knees.

"Mitch? Uh are you okay?" Preston's voice said from outside the stall door. Lifting my head up to Sara's face I jumped, her eyes were pure white, bloodshot, and blood ran out of her eyes almost like it was a scene from that one Bloody Mary episode from Supernatural.

"Can you get Ashley?" My voice croaked.

"Uh Mitch, this is the men's room."

I placed my head back in-between my legs as I sniffled.

"I'll go get her." Preston's voice said.

"You don't need her." Sara's voice growled.

"Look at me Mitch." She hissed as I lifted my face to look at her. She grabbed my wrists, I felt myself wince almost like her grip was burning hot. Ripping my wrists back I looked down to see no burn mark, Relax Mitch this is all in your head.

Sara laughed, "Mitch I'm not in your head I'm right in front of you." Sara's voice said in my ear as I pushed myself up closer to the wall.

"Mitch?" Ashley's voice asked concerned I pushed myself up going through Sara's ghost like figure to unlock the bathroom stall door. Opening it Ashley wrapped her arms around me, "What's wrong?" Ashley muttered grabbing both of my hands.

"Go ahead tell her, tell her how you’re insane because you can see my spirit Mitch, she'll really love you then." Sara's voice hissed in my head.

Shutting and locking the stall door I collapsed into Ashley's neck silently sobbing.

"Mitch. . . I can't help you if I don't know what's wrong." She muttered wrapping her arms around my waist, walking back over to the corner we sunk down to the floor before I looked up at her.

"I'm insane Ash. . . Nothing is working." I muttered feeling tears run down my face.

"Your borderline insane I'm not leaving you alone ever." Sara said, I could feel her breath on my neck.

"Mitch you’re not insane." Ashley said, I looked up at her as tears clouded my vision.

"Ash, I've been seeing my dead ex-girlfriend for three years, she's been haunting me for three years blaming me that I killed her." Ashley's brown eyes studied me.
