EDlin POV
Dear Tad,
Hey Tadpole, I hope this letter find it's way to you eventually, and I read your first couple of letters.
From what you've said I pray everything's okay.
I know you don't like my ranting, but I hate that they made you and your sister travel in such an uncomfortable environment, a box car of all things?
Anyway, it been kind of quiet since you left... My mother seems to have mixed feelings. On one hand she seems relieved that you've left but I can tell she's not telling me something.
She's also adopted a new habit of boasting to every new person we meet about how blue my eyes are and how blonde my hair is, which I don't really mind except she'd never cared about it before.
Well I don't think you really want to hear more about my problems, so I'll stop here I guess. I hope you and your sister have arrived at the new location safe. I really wish i'd said goodbye, it'll be lonely without you here.
Sincerely, Ed
P.s. We'll be friends no matter what, right..?
