EDlin POV
February 1, 1942
Recently everyone's been bustling on about apparent "saviors".
According to just about everyone, soldiers from America are freeing the camps that they're finding. I heard about it from none other than my mother.
I thought she of all people would be indifferent towards it but she was more enthusiastic than ever. Of course I was delighted by the news but I didn't like that everyone had just sat by and watched until someone else came to help.
I always rant on about how none of this wouldn't have happened the people had actually done something. But even as I say that, I was one of them.
I did nothing.
Even as I knew my one best friend and his only family were suffering, I did nothing. Although, maybe now's there's actually a chance.
