Rumor

First I don't own gravity falls. Alex hirsch does. This is just my fanfic of it. Only thing I claim about this is the story plot ry plot. And I don't own any pictures I use or any video/song I use for my story. I'm just using them because they fit my image of what's happening.

Dipper went into the woods to blow off steam. He was breaking trees. One punch was all it took to break a tree completely. He found it to be too easy to break the trees. His density was insanely high and his arms outmatched the trees in every way.

"Destructor. What angers you? Whatever it is we will destroy it for you!" Said a manotaur. The manotaurs see dipper as a god. His strength greatly surpasses theirs. Enough to beat even the strongest of their kind leaderaur. Dipper has found that he likes the manotaur named chutzpar the most. Chutzpar was the manotaur that was currently with him.

"No chutzpar. The thing that angers me is a man. You can't get at him unless you exposed yourself. We can't have that now can we?" He said.

"No. We cannot." Chutzpar said with disappointed. Dipper continued to break trees to release his frustration. Soon it became dark and dipper went back home.

Time skip

At fourth period the next day dipper watched Pacifica as she came in and quietly sat down.

"Hey dude did you hear?" Soos asked him.

"Hear what?" Dipper asked.

"A rumor had been floating around about a bunch of broken trees in the forest. A guy's dad found them in the middle of night while hiking when he came back his son heard him talking about and then spread it around the school. Rumor has it that it's some kind of monster. People are all gonna be checking it out. You wanna come?" Soos asked. Dipper hesitated not knowing to say yes or no. He didn't want it being known that he did it but he already knew about them.

"When?" Dipper asked. Deciding to go.

"Latter in the week. I figured today tomorrow and the next day a bunch of people are gonna be checking it. I mean this is a really popular subject now." Soos said. Dipper nodded

"cool." Dipper said. class ended. Around lunch dipper was looking for Pacifica. He found her outside the school against the wall curled into a ball. Her friends weren't around. "You ok?" Dipper asked. Pacifica snapped up her head. She was a little shocked and looked a little scared. "Sorry if I scared you." Dipper said. He noticed her eyes were a little puffy.

"Does your dad hit you often?" Dipper asked he sat down next to her. She slowly nodded.

"When ever he gets upset. Which is quite often." She said. She was looking down at the ground. Dipper put his arm around her shoulders.

"I am sorry to hear that. Well I guess all I can do and say is if you ever need help in anyway. You can count on me." Dipper said. Pacifica leaned into him. Dipper felt a little awkward doing this. I mean just a few days ago they were in a feud and now their like really close friends. "Hey. Latter this week were gonna check out the broken trees see if we can find any clues as to what did it. You wanna join us?" Dipper asked. Pacifica seemed to hesitate. "Honestly I know it's not really your thing but it's something to do that can get you out of the house." Dipper said. Pacifica then slowly nodded. They stayed like that and talked all the way till the lunch bell rang. Dipper helped her up and then they went to their classes. The next few days went by. The night before he, Soos, Mabel, and Pacifica went to look at trees dipper thought it might be a good idea to break more trees and do something else to discourage people from entering the woods. He got some help from the manotaurs. At fourth period dipper, Mabel, and Soos were talking about the trees and how more broken trees had appeared.

"Hey guys just so you know I invited someone along with us." Dipper said.

"That's cool. Dude." Soos said.

"Yeah. The more the merrier." Mabel said. So at 5 They gathered in front of the woods. They were all wearing back packs with some stuff in it. Dipper had snacks and water in his bag along with a med kit, but he didn't know what Mabel and Soos brought. Not long latter Pacifica came walking up to them. She was wearing a loose pink shirt with a sports bra underneath it, a pair of jeans, and sneakers. She seemed to be a bit happier than the past few days. "What are you doing here?" Mabel asked confused and a little rude. Dipper slapped her upside the head. "Hey what was that for!" Mabel complained.

"It's ok dipper. I guess I kinda deserved that." Pacifica said she looked down. The puzzle pieces started to click together.

"Wait. You invited Pacifica!" Mabel said.

"Yeah. What about it Mabel?" Dipper asked.

"I thought you two hated each other dude?" Soos said.

"We did. But a few days ago we worked it out because she needed a tutor and she came to me. Now everything is fine. So I invited Pacifica along. Does it matter now. Do you guys want to check out the trees or not?" Dipper said.

"Oh I want to see the broken trees." Mabel said.

"I heard even more of them have been broken recently." Soos said.

"Then that settles it. Let's go." Dipper said. Mabel and Soos took the front while dipper stayed behind Pacifica. And they started the long walk towards the broken trees for a mystery hunt.
