First I don't own gravity falls. Alex hirsch does. This is just my fanfic of it. Only thing I claim about this is the story plot ry plot. And I don't own any pictures I use or any video/song I use for my story. I'm just using them because they fit my image of what's happening.

They had been walking for a hour and a half now. Dipper had to give Pacifica a piggyback ride halfway through because she was tired and not used to hiking.

"So. You two are friends now? Huh?" Mabel asked with accusing eyes.

"Yes. Mabel. Will you stop that. She is a friend now. Don't be rude." Dipper said.

"Well I'm sorry if I feel a little suspicious about it." Mabel said.

"There's nothing to be suspicious about. We're no longer in a feud. I'm helping her and she's being a kind person. Now drop it!" Dipper said.

"Fine. Fine. Whatever you say." Mabel said. She went up to Soos. "I don't trust her." She said to Soos.

"I honestly don't know what to think. But I'm giving her a chance. Maybe you should too Mabel." Soos said. Mabel just stared at Pacifica.

"Sorry about Mabel." Dipper said.

"It's ok. I guess I deserved it." Pacifica said.

"No. Past you. Sure. She deserves it for being a jerk. But you've changed." Dipper said. Pacifica seemed to perk up at what he said. "Bimbo." Dipper said with a smile. Pacifica punched his shoulder and smiled. They laughed together. Mabel was still staring at the two of them.

"Are you sure it isn't that fact that she seems closer to him then you?" Soos asked. Mabel looked at him and thought for a second. Is that what she was feeling? Jealousy because Pacifica looked closer to dipper than she was? Nah. That couldn't be. Mabel pines never feels jealousy. Doesn't she?

"Guys look!" Dipper said he pointed at a broken tree. They all ran up to it. The tree was completely broken in two. "What could have done this?" Dipper said faking amazement.

"I don't know dude. But what ever it was it not that much bigger than us!" Soos said.

"How can you tell?" Pacifica asked.

"Look there on the broken piece. There's an indention in it. It's no bigger than my fist. Matter a fact it's smaller than my fist." Soos said. He made his hand into a fist and placed it on the indention. He moved his hand then Mabel put hers on it. Her hands were a little too small. Pacifica gave it a try. Her hands were too small as well. They looked at dipper.

"I don't really need to. Come on guys. I think three people trying is good enough. Right?" Dipper says trying to get out of it. They look at him expectantly. "Ugh! Fine." He makes a fist and nonchalantly places his fist on the indention. "Wow. My hand fits... That's spooky." He says. Faking surprise and fear in his voice. He moved his hand away from the indention and wipes his hand. They look at him for a while then shudder.

"This just means what ever did is the same size as us. That's a scary thought." Mabel said.

"It can hide in lots of places in this forest. It could be watching us right now!" Soos said. His eyes widened and looked around.

"Uh. Guys. Look there's more. It looks like a path." Pacifica said. She pointed at more broken trees making a path of them. They all stared at the path of destruction.

"Well. What are we waiting for. Let's go dudes." Soos said. They followed the broken trees. Soon they came to a mountain side. "So what. The trail just ends?" Soos said. He looked at last broken tree. He looked at the mountain side. There were cracks all over it. He put his hand on the mountain. Mabel and Pacifica were just looking around for more broken trees to continue the path. Dipper walked to some trees and sat down with his back to a tree facing the mountain. After a few seconds of pretending to be tired and just looking around. He stood up.

"Hey guys!" Dipper said. Making himself sound more alarmed. They all turned to him.

"Yeah?" They seemed to say in unison. He motioned for them to join him. They all walked over to him. Then he pointed at the mountain. They all looked at where he was pointing. Then they noticed it. All the cracks seemed to have the same origin point. The cracks came from an indention the size of a fist. Dipper had caused it. He only caused small cracks in the mountain but with the help of the manotaurs they widened the cracks making them bigger. They all looked at the cracks again in amazement.

"I don't know about you guys but I want to leave right now. The thought that something our size made that! I don't want to ever come back into these woods honestly." Dipper said faking fear. Everyone nodded in agreement. It seemed dippers plan had worked. Partially. Now he just hoped it would scare everyone else at school if they found it. Soos took pictures of everything on his way out of the woods. When they got out of the woods everyone went their separate ways. Dipper and Mabel went back to the mystery shack. Soos went back home to his abuelita. And Pacifica went home to her mansion. When dipper and Mabel got back Mabel went to her room to do some studying. Dipper went down into the basement. Ford was working on a new piece of technology while Stan was drinking a beer.

"So how did the plan go?" Ford asked. Not taking his eyes of the technology he was working on.

"It worked on Mabel, Soos, and a friend. Just gotta hope it works on everyone else. Theres bound to be some people who want to go into the woods even more. I'll just have to take it up a step for them." Dipper said.

"Do what ever you can, short of hurting people, to keep them out of the woods." Ford said. With that dipper went back upstairs and started to study for his classes.

Meanwhile

Pacifica had just walked in the door and was greeted by her mother.

"Pacifica? Where did you go?" She said. She looked Pacifica up and down. "Never mind that. Go to room! Hurry! Before your father sees!" She says in panic.

"Before I see what?!" Preston northwest said. Priscilla flipped around.

"Nothing." She said. She stood in front of Pacifica. Preston walked up to her and slapped her. She fell to the ground. Then he saw Pacifica. He glared at her and what she was wearing. And guessed what she had done.

"You left the house without telling me!" He said. Pacifica cowered as he raised his hand.
