First I don't own gravity falls. Alex hirsch does. This is just my fanfic of it. Only thing I claim about this is the story plot ry plot. And I don't own any pictures I use or any video/song I use for my story. I'm just using them because they fit my image of what's happening.

Pacifica had shown dipper the proof of her being beaten by her father. They were all on her laptop. Dipper ended up copying it all down on a flash drive then hid it from everyone. Even Pacifica didn't know where he hid it. Now dipper was just waiting for the fight. Right now dipper was on the couch thinking.

"Hey kid why so serious?" Grunkle Stan  asked while he sat down in his recliner with a cup of coffee.

"I challenged Preston northwest to bet. I win he leaves Pacifica alone. I lose he says he will kick us out of gravity falls." Dipper said. Stan spit out the coffee he was drinking.

"Are you serious kid! So you just made this deal without discussing this with me or ford! If you lose we leave this town! And..." he paused looking around to make sure no one was listening. "We forget all about us being protectors!" He whispered to dipper.

"Yeah. Here's the thing out of all the challenges he could have picked. He picked boxing." Dipper said. His great uncle went from a terrified look to grinning from ear to ear. He busted out laughing.

"Hahaha! He's challenged you to a boxing match! There is no way you can lose!" Grunkle Stan exclaimed. He slowly stopped laughing. Then he looked back at dipper seeing him still in deep thought. "There's more isn't there kid." He said.

"Yeah. I lose. She has to decide between her freedom or everything that her grandfather has given to her in his will. I just feel so bad for Pacifica." Dipper said.

"Oh come on kid. You won't lose. You know that." Grunkle Stan said.

"I know. But Pacifica doesn't. Right now she's up in my room debating on which one she wants." Dipped said.

"Oh." Stan said. He looked down at a Pitt cola in his hands. "I guess that would be tough on someone of your guys age." Stan said. He took a deep breath then sighed. "Hey let's go check on ford." Stan said trying to distract dipper. Dipper nodded and they opened up the vending machine and went down into the basement. Ford was at the computer monitoring gravity falls. "Hey sixer. Whatcha doing there?" Stan said. Ford looked at his twin brother.

"Just monitoring gravity falls." He said. He turned back to the screen. "What about you? What have you two been doing."

"Well dipper here made a bet with mr. northwest. He wins his girlfriend is safe from her dad. He loses mr. Northwest will try to kick us out of gravity falls." Stan said. Dipper glared at his great uncle.

"She's not my girlfriend. Yet." Dipper said. He said the last part to quietly for stan or ford to hear. He turned a bright red.

"Uh huh. Sure." Grunkle Stan said.

"Dipper. Who could you make this kind of bet with consulting me or Stanley." Ford said. Looking dissapointed.

"Hey kid tell him what the challenge is." Stan said with a big smile.

"He challenged me to a boxing match." Dipper said. Ford raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"Well at least we don't have to worry about leaving gravity falls. But you should still talk to us before making one of these kinds of bets." Stan said.

"Yes sir I know." Dipper said. With that dipper went back up stairs to find Mabel waiting for him with an angry look. "What?"

"You made a bet that could get us kicked out of gravity falls! That's what!" Mabel said angrily. Dipper rolled his eyes.

"Ok. So I made a bet that could, yes, get us kicked out of gravity falls. But I was helping Pacifica. I had noble intentions. And besides I don't think I'm gonna lose." Dipper said.

"You did it to help out Pacifica!" She said incredulously.

"So?" Dipper said confused.

"Why are you helping her out so much! She was a total bitch to you! Now it's like you two are the best of friends!" She said.

"Why do you care so much about me helping out Pacifica?" Dipper said defensively. He threw his arms into the air. "Sure she was mean. But really she's just a girl with an abusive father who tried to make herself feel better. Sure the way she did it wasn't the best thing. But you know what. That doesn't matter. That was in the past. This is now and right now Pacifica is my friend! Maybe even something more." Dipper said. The last was said quietly. But Mabel heard it. She looked at her brother hurt. Then she ran upstairs and into her room. Dipper looked up at her room. Then he started up the stairs to get to his room. He opened the door to see Pacifica sitting on his bed curled up and with her back to the wall. He walked over to her and sat down next to her. "I'm guessing you heard that argument." She looked at him giving him a small smile.

"Who didn't?" She said. Dipper chuckled at that.

"I don't wanna do this to you and your sister. I didn't mean to make you two argue." She said. She looked down at her knees in sadness. Dipper took his arm and wrapped it around her.

"It's not your fault. Mabel's just acting stupid. I don't know what her problem is." Dipper said.

"Well its obviously against me. She doesn't like me at all. Don't blame her. I was a total bitch." She said. Dipper looked at her. "Maybe is should just go back to my father and ask for forgiveness. Then this would all be over." She said. Dipper's eyes widened.

"No way!" He said sternly. Pacifica looked at him. "We are not doing that! Your gonna stay here with us! I'm gonna fight your dad in that fight! And I'm gonna win! And I'm gonna win for you!" He said. Pacifica started to blush.

"But why would you?" She said sheepishly while looking away.

"Because. I love you." He said. Pacifica snapped her head back to him. Her eyes filled with many emotions. Joy, fear, and several others. She didn't know what to do. Dipper took a deep breath. "Pacifica. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asked. Pacifica looked at him for a second then nodded slowly. Dipper smiled and so did Pacifica. Then dipper leaned down to Pacifica and kissed her on the lips. After a second. She kissed back. They didn't notice Mabel peaking around the corner seeing them. Mabel pulled herself back and went back to her room. She crawled up under the blanket of her bed and started crying herself to sleep.
