Hayes

The day went by and we were currently cruising around the mall. I had my bike and Ashlyn with her longboard.

"Lets get food then head to the park." She suggested.

"Okay. What do you want? My treat." I said and she scanned around the area. "Lets get accai bowls." She perked up and we head to Jamba Juice.

"Race you to the park." Ashlyn boosted when she snatched her bag. "What! Not fair!" I shouted and got onto my bike.

I caught up with her at the cross walk, but she boosted once the street was clear.

"Come on!" I shouted and crossed the street. "Hurry!" She shouted.
"I -" I bumped into a tree.

"Are you okay!" She stopped.

"Yup." I groaned and she was laughing. She headed back to me and helped me up. My drink spilled and I sighed, "You can share with me don't worry." She said and we headed back to the park.

Ashlyn ran to the place we always hang and shouted out, "I WON!" I just laughed and nodded my head.

"Congrats for not running into a non-moving object." I laughed and she laughed along with me. "Thanks. It just proves I came be more aware than you." She said and I rolled my eyes, "Can we eat now?" I asked and she sat down.

While we were eating, she told me something very scary and heartbreaking.

"YOU'RE MOVING BACK!" I shouted. People were looking and I rubbed the back of my neck.

"You done freaking out?" She asked her tone was sad.

"Yes and why?"

"My dad wants me to go back with them for awhile. Also..." she trailed off. It look liked she was about to cry.

She sighed, "My parents got back together, so I am no longer a Dallas. I'm back to my former last name." Tears fell from her eyes. I just hugged her and let her cry.

"Does Cameron and Sierra know?"

"T-they were the o-ones who told me." She cried harder. My heart broke too.

"Who else knows besides family?" I know she didn't want to talk, but I want to know the information.

"J-just y-you an-d M-meg." She managed to say. I just hugged her tighter and we stayed at the park for a hour.

"Wanna go back to my house?" I asked trying not to eat back on the family subject.

"yea." She said softly. Her eyes were red and puffy, so I called Nash to pick us up. Luckily he actually came and we got to my house.

We decided to watch Disney movies, since that always made Ashlyn happy. She chose to watch Beauty and The Beast.

We were both peacefully watching until Nash barged in with Cameron.

"Cam what are you doing here?" Ashlyn was shocked.

"Nash what's going on?" I asked.

"Ashlyn we have to go home." Cameron answered. Ashlyn nodded her head no.

"Come on. Mo- I mean your mom is calling me." Ashlyn's face turned from scared to heartbroken.

"I don't want to go." She answered.

"Well I don't want you to go too, but it's life. My dad and your mom cheated on each other. Life isn't fair and it hurts, so we are going either you like it or not." Cameron said angrily.

"Well I'm no longer a Dallas, so you are no longer my older brother." Once that sentence was said it went quiet.

Ashlyn broke down and Cameron just stood there quietly. Nash and I were in the awkward moment.

"Let's go out for a breathe." Nash guided Cam out.

"Ashlyn." I said and carried her to the bed.

Nash

"Cameron. Hello." He was heartbroken. Tears rolling down. So I took his car and we drove around California.

"I c-cant believe w-what s-she said." Cameron managed to speak.

"Cameron I known Ashlyn didn't mean those stuff, she was just hurt. You're both feeling the same pain. Since family is the problem why don't you two live together." I suggested.

"Her mom will force her back to Hawaii." He said. He was just staring straight with tears rolling down his face.

"Even if I do make something for Ashlyn to stay her dad will step into place." He added.
