"Only the light of the moon forgives me for what I got you into,

I'll come to you in your dreams as you're sleeping warning you."

Everything was okay on the way out, I was only running, running away from the sunlight. I also just wanted to go and come back but without the ache in my gums. I don't think I had ever drank so quickly in my life. I was glad that were still some drunk people around. Those who had too much alcohol from the night's event.

I drank two people drunk dry to bone before throwing them aside and wiping my mouth. I couldn't be seen around here, specially in pure daylight. So I began my way back hoping that he would still be asleep or just awake by the time I got there.

What started out as a slow run turned into me running my way home. I felt like something was wrong, like I was being watched. Though with the sun beaming down on me it slowly down my speed.

I was half way there, no more than that, nonstop running, not looking back.

I had made it to park when I heard it, no heard him. His voice sounded worse than I remembered. I shuddered coming to a standstill in the middle of the park with nowhere to hide.

"Hey you. You took my son from me. Give him back, tell him to come back instantly!" I turned and look straight at him.

"Never!" I replied with a smirk on my playing on lips.

"Don't you yell at me, you son stealing thief!" He was quite drunk not enough for me to easily get away from him as he was blocking my way.

"And what if I do, what are you going to do about it?" I laughed a little, I enjoyed messing with drunken idiots like him. The clouds moved in front of the sun giving me an advantage for a small amount of time.

I tried to move out his way but then I pulled out a gun. Where the hell did he get the gun from?! I stood on spot not knowing what to do. The sun shone through the clouds and with that I knew all I could do was call his bluff.

"Give me back my son, tell me where he is or I will shoot." He half slurred his words.

"Go on then shoot." It's a little known fact among immortals like myself that you can't kill a vampire. On the one in a billion chance that you do kill a vampire, you get haunted it.

I am not sure with if was just my imagination or what I actually saw but I could swear his eyes flashed a red color... was he a demon?

In that comment of confusion, he switched guns. Wait he had more than one gun?! This one had a special tip to it by the looks of it.

Something that could dig into flesh I assumed.

If I escaped then he would follow me and find out where Koichi is. I don't want that, oh what the hell; isn't it all for love, all for romance.

"What you standing there for, go ahead shoot!" I encourage him on.

It was only until the pulled the trigger and a smirk spread across his face that I knew, that he knew my true being.

There was a thing or two he didn't know but would soon find out.

I feel to the ground as the bullet hit me in the chest, then I felt of a fire spreading through my body. Damn it, he had put poison on the end of it. That's one of the things that made us weak especially in daylight it would take effect quicker.

"Rot in hell!" He shouted his finger on the trigger ready to shoot again. In my last few moments I rather up my courage and spoke back.

"Yeah, nothing like a burial at home." That was the last I remember as the poison took full effect and knocked me out completely cold.
