"Now I'm setting off to meet you, down a lost road with all its travelers gone. Cherry blossoms spitting blood, in the lavender of evening. The poison takes effect, drawing near to a thunderstorm, the sound of the drops of rain."

It didn't take before the wind and the rain became stronger. We had walked through muddy and dark forests with the wolves at our side. They lead the way to mountains as soon as we had entered their grounds.

Now I look up at the moment right of us and sigh. I am determined to reach the top no matter what.

"Right, let's do this." I say looking at Teru and Hizaki and they nod in agreement. Teru leads the way making sure the path ahead is secure as they both help me up with each step. There no clear path ahead, just a dusty narrow area which takes one person at a time.

We walk in a straight line; Teru in front, Hizaki behind me and myself in the middle of them.

"How do the angels make it up here safely?" I wonder out loud as we slowly make progress getting more and more above the ground.

"They have invisible white wings, they can fly." Teru replied sounding annoyed by the fact.

We were a quarter way there as dusk set across the sky and the rain became more than just a drizzle.

"Well make it another twenty minutes there and then set camp for the night." Teru suggested and we all agreed.

Luckily the twenty minutes didn't take long, Teru and Hizaki quickly got to putting up the tent that they packed. I watched trying best to stay warm, another five minutes or passed and everything was ready.

"Please go inside. We will be the next to you." Hizaki said kindly as Teru had started to put up the second tent.

"Okay, see you guys in the morning." I said quickly getting inside the tent. Without taking off anything I crawled inside my sleeping bag to get warmer. I properly should have taken off the wet clothes and then changed into some dry ones. Though I decided to do that in the morning when I woke up.

I couldn't sleep though, the wind shook the tent sending shivers down my spine. The sound of an owl somewhere close by, the wolves howling in the distance. At some point I covered my ears with my hands and closed my eyes. I tried to sleep but it was no use.

The night dragged on longer than the days I wanted to see Tsuzuku. Endless hours later when the daylight finally came, I was tired but still determined so folded up my sleeping bag and got out the tent.

Teru and Hizaki were already putting away their tent when I went their side.

"Morning." I muttered looking around, still shaking probably from the cold.

"Oh morning Koichi-San. Here some new clothes for you to wear." Hizaki offered and I took them thanking him in the progress.

I quickly got inside the tent and changed coming back out in my new dry clothes. After that I watched them pack up my tent as I zipped up my coat and then minutes after we were on our way again.

Everytime I looked up it seemed like we had ages to go and then again it was probably better than looking down. The more higher up we went, the more dangerous the path became.

The rain had made it slippery and wet, so we were moving at a slower pace now. The small rocks crumbled under our feet only minutes after we moved, dropping down to the ground many miles below. The air became thinner causing me to cough half of the time.

"Are you sure you don't want to take a break?" Hizaki asked after I told him that we should continue on right after he asked if I needed to rest. Since I was in charge we continued on each step slightly more carefully than the one before. Every now and then I stop and glance up to see how much is left, during that time either Hizaki or Teru would offer water to me. I would take a few swings from the bottle before passing it back to them.

As the dusk set on the sky we had finally made it to entrance of the Angel lair. I collapsed out of breath taking my first break in a while. Teru and Hizaki knelt down beside me letting me rest until I was ready to walk inside. Just as I was about to get up we heard light footsteps followed by a calm voice.

"You must be Tsuzuku-San's visitors. He has been waiting for you." A boy who I assumed was the one of the main angels spoke. He was wearing a white suit with big white wings.

"And who are you?" Teru questioned as Hizaki helped me up.

"Oh I am MiA, leader of angels and a friend of Tsuzuku's." He replied. Somehow Teru believed him, it was only later on Hizaki told me that angels can't lie.

And so we followed MiA into their lair, walking pass several rooms and different angels. They all stopped for a moment to look at us before continuing with thier work. Finally right at the back we came to a room in which MiA informed us that Tsuzuku was in. I didn't wait another second as I rushed in the room, Teru and Hizaki following straight behind me. My eyes scanned the room before I finally saw him laying on a bed with a special machine attached to his wounds;healing him.

"Tsuzuku-Kun!" I yelled running to his side.

"Koichi!" He echoed my name through the room.

It felt good to be in his embrace as we just held each other for a moment, enjoying being in each other's company.

"Your getting better?" I asked looking at him. He nodded.

"Yes my love, I am." He replied as I placed a small kiss on his lips before cuddling up to him.

"You should be able to go, by mid-day tomorrow." MiA said with a smile.

"Thank you for taking care of me MiA-San. And thank you for looking after Koichi in my absence." He thanked both MiA and his servants.

Thier answers were all the same, a 'no problem' with a nod or a smile.

Though as this moment was nothing but bliss and happiness, this wasn't our happily ever after as much as we wanted it to be. We still had to get down from this place. Tsuzuku-Kun had to completely heal and recover to his full strength again, he was just healing his wounds here. Then of course the threat of my father's existence still lingered somewhere in the town. Yes you couldn't easily kill a vampire but you can't kill easily kill a demon either.
