"Your prom king and queen of 2017 are... Felix and Marzia!"The room filled with hoots and hollers and Dan and Phil merely clapped with a fake smile on their faces. Felix and Marzia made their way up to the stage. Crowning them was Carrie who had a smile on her face. Felix seemed a bit off while Marzia made her speech. Carrie picked up on this also and made her way to him and whispered in his ear. His response was something that made Carrie's mouth drop before her smile became huge. She patted him on the back and went back to where she was supposed to be standing.
Once Marcia had finished her speak, Felix stepped over to grasp the microphone, eyes wide as he did so. He breathed in a few times before he spoke, "I don't know what to say except thank you. I wouldn't be up here if it weren't for you guys and this certainly wouldn't be happening. Carrie if you would." Carrie rushed over and grabbed the microphone from Felix. Before anyone could question what had happened, Felix got down on one knee in front of Mariza.
"Marzia, we've been together since sixth grade and you're the love of my life. In a few months we're going to be moving in together and I can't even comprehend everything that's happened between us. You know I'm not very good at speeches, but one thing is for sure. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me Marzia?" Felix beamed, pulling a ring box out of his back pocket. The box opened and Marzia gasped and she started to cry.
"Of course I will you nerd!" She chimed, holding out her left hand. Felix slid the ring into her slim finger and they kissed. The crowd of seniors were shouting and clapping for them and so we're Dan and Phil.
"Phil, can we dance again?" Dan asked when another slow song started to play.
"Of course Dan," Phil replied and they started dancing together, the peace Dan rarely feels coming back to him.

FanfictionI'm not going to lie, this is kinda cheesy and like almost every other fic because it's pastel Dan, but I'm having Nerd Phil so we'll see how this turns out. I'm not good at writing descriptions, but I'm very happy with the plot of this story.
