Juliette had ended the call with Armani due to the fact that she wanted to talk to Cameron. She dialled his number and to no surprise he picked up almost immediately.
She had recently taken comfort in the company of Cameron, she found they had many things in common like: their love for literature, appreciation for modern art and music taste.
"Hey Juliette! Is everything okay?" He asked chirpily.
"Oh yeah I just got off the phone with my boyfriend and uh I don't really know how our relationship is going to last." She said honestly, she'd noticed how awkward it had become between the pair and that their conversations were somewhat forced. A problem that didn't arise when talking to Cameron.
"Continue... I'm all ears."
"It's just, he's really sweet and everything and we've been together for ages but we've been drifting."
"Drifting?"
"Yeah! It's become awkward between us, our conversations don't last and we've really changed over these few months and it's crazy to think that we used to be connected by the hip and now we aren't even holding by the thread!" She expressed with frustration evident in her voice.
"I.. Juliette I really think you should break up. I mean if it gets worse anyway. Who says it won't get better?"
"Yeah you're right. It's going to end up in heartbreak either way isn't it?"
"Ding ding ding! You should really sleep it's getting late. I'll see you tomorrow." Cameron ended the call and Juliette went to sleep with a heavy heart.
