"How fucking dare you." Arabella grasped onto her clutch so hard her knuckles faded into the same white that adorned Armani's ghostly face. She had come face to face with the devil in disguise.
"I don't want to make a scene." Juliette stated as calm as possible only to receive a scoff in reply. Juliette had managed to be the one who stood out from the crowd. Dressed in white. She looked like an angel however Arabella knew better.
"You had one job. One job and that was to not show up. Can't you respect a dead mans wish?" Her voice rose higher as she ascended the stairs of the church. Getting closer to the door.
"I just wanted to pay my respects." Juliette reasoned robotically. Quoting the words of the silver eyed boy as they drew a crowd.
"You're unbelievable." Arabella turned away from her in disgust before turning back around. "You know what. Come inside. Come inside and pray Juliette. Because lord knows you'll need it. Hell is only a few miles away.
"You're no saint either." Juliette argued.
"I never said I was however, I know how to stay loyal." Arabella spat. Turning away once more and retreating into the church, whisking the crowd away with her.
Juliette sat on the steps of the church as clouds began to build up above. She had lost everything. Everything apart from Cameron. He was still here. She still had a chance with him.
Her phone began to vibrate in her own bag.
Her finger hovered over decline before deciding against it and pressed accept
"Hello?" She greeted with confusion. He was aware she was at the funeral, what did he need?"I need to tell you something. I just realised that it's unfair on you if you don't know."
"Go on." She encouraged.
"I'm in a relationship. I've been leading you on and I'm sorry." He confessed. Juliette's world began to spin once more, "but it's not what you think?"
"Is she bad to you?" She asked with a small glimmer of hope.
"That's the thing. I'm gay."
