I woke up in a room. Unaware of where I was. The door was locked. I don't know how to get out. It smelt as tho there was dirt surrounding me.
The room was made of stone. I couldn't see outside the room. There was no windows and the window on the door was covered with a curtain on the outside. The room was very rustic. It had a twin size bed. The room was filled with things a small house would have. It had a table with a furnace. The room was warm from the fire and it gave off a yellow glow that lit the entire room. There was a bedside table with a lamp with books by it. The room had no food except a few loafs of bread on the table. The fridge had nothing but water. There was no television and no games of any kind. There was almost no sign of any other human here.
I looked for a key forever aiming find it because the door had a lock that was unlocked with a key. I looked for hours on end and there was no cell service. Which made me worried because I couldn't call for help. The bed was too low to look under so I decided to move the bed. My arm was still sore from the needle. So I couldn't move it. I used my back to push it out of the way instead of my arms. I found nothing under the bed. So I plopped down on the floor. I didn't realize that the bottom brick of the wall in front of me was missing. I looked in the hole and realized there was a box inside. I took out the box and opened it to a key. I grabbed the key out and ran to the door and unlocked it. That's when I heard footsteps. Except it sounded like the person was walking on gravel. So I hurried to put everything back but I didn't get the bed back in time. The person attempted to unlock the door but just locked it again. I hurried to put the box back and shoved the key in my pocket. I moved the bed back quickly and as quiet as possible and got back into the bed.
I heard the door unlock. Then the knob squeaked and the door opened.
