I knew we were all dead at this point. That was when I saw a red flashing light flashing in a specific pattern. I had no other idea so I hit the button in the exact same pattern as the light.
The water started draining. Casnar was unconscious and Emma was lying on the floor in shock. I caught my breathe and ran over to Casnar. I checked his pulse. No pulse. I checked his heartbeat. A very faint beating. I started to give him CPR. He was about to die any second. I can not let his heart stop.
Emma finally realized what was happening when she regained consciousness and she was having a intense panic attack. I told her to calm down it will be alright. I was doing CPR for 15 minutes and around the 15 minute mark they are usually considered dead.
I was not giving up on Casnar. I barely knew him but if he didn't tell me about a brown button we wouldn't be here right now. I checked his pulse and he had one. He started to cough. He opened his eyes. We told him he was okay and what had happened. We handed him the blanket and lit a candle. We sat soaking wet on the floor by Casnar and we all fell asleep.
I saved a life today.
