Chapter 2: Going To The Beach

[ Lucy POV ]

"Hey, Luce I'm about to head to the guild you wanna come?" Natsu asked as he was heading out of the house. I shook my head saying no, I had too much to do around the house and if I went to the guild nothing would ever get done.

After three an a half hours later I was finally done with all of the housework. I took a quick shower and got dressed. When I was done getting ready I left the house and walked to the guild, when I opened the doors I saw Natsu running towards me. When he got to me he hugged me as tight as he could.

"How about we go to the beach" Natsu asked with puppy dog eyes. I smiled at the face he was making and sighed in defeat.

"Sure we can go. Wait who all is coming?"

"It's going to me, you, Happy, Erza, Wendy, and Carla"

If its just going to be a small group of friends then why not. "Alright, when are we going?" I asked walking with Natsu to the bar. When we got their Mira started smiling at us.

"I can't believe my t.o.p has been married for three years already" Mira yelled and then laughed at our now blushing faces.

" M-Mira can I j-just get a strawberry milkshake please?" I asked and she nodded. She then hands me the drink with two straws. I wonder why she put two straws in my drink. I then saw Natsu take the other straw and start drinking my milkshake. So I took the other and we drank the milkshake until it was gone.

"Oh, yea Luce I forgot to tell ya that we are going to head to the beach tomorrow at nine pm (9 pm).

[ Next Day ]

When I got up this morning Natsu wasn't next to me, so I got up to go look for him." Natsu are you here? Where are you?" I asked as I was now getting a little worried. I started to smell smoke, I ran to the kitchen and found Natsu cooking something or should I say 'burning' something. While Happy was above him trying to blow the smoke away.

"Hey, Luce are ya hungry?" He asked as he was putting the burnt pancakes onto the table. I was shocked but also happy, this is this first time he tried to cook. Anything. "Ok I kinda left the pancakes on the thingy over there for too long," He said pointing to the stove.

"Its alright I'll still..umm..eat it?" I said which sounded more like a question. I love Natsu but when it comes to food he makes it a whole different story. He just looked at me with his puppy dog eyes."what? I said I was going to eat it"

"That's the problem I don't want you to eat something that's burned and hard" He frowned at me which made me a little sad.

"Ok so do you want me to cook?" He nods in response saying yes.

When I was done cooking we all ate. I made pancakes and put strawberries on top of the pancakes in a smiley face form for Natsu and me, and I cooked some fish for Happy. When we were all done I washed the dishes and started making sandwiches for all of us for when we go to the beach.

"Natsu what time are we going to be leaving?" He just looked at me with a confused face. I sigh, I bet he forgot that we made plans to go to the beach today. "What time are we leaving to go to the beach?" I asked again but this time he knew what I was talking about.

"Oh, that's what you mean. Okay, we should leave around eight-thirty (8:30) so we can get there early enough to unpack our stuff and set up everything"  I smiled at him for actually knowing what to do when we get there. "what's with the smile?"

"No reason, I'm just so happy I said 'yes' the day you proposed to me" I smiled once again, I was heading to the room to get changed into my bikini when I felt two arms wrap around my waist, I turned around and Natsu kissed me.

"Yyoouu LLOOVVEE hheerr" We heard Happy say so we looked in his detection. He was smiling at us then ran to us and hugged our legs. " I love you two" Happy said still hugging our legs.

"We love you to Happy" Natsu and I said in unison.

"Ok let's get going it's already eight twenty-seven (8:27)" I said as we walked outside to the car.

When we got to the beach we were the only ones there. We unpacked and set everything up. I was wearing a pink bikini with light pink stars on each breast. Natsu was wearing simple red shorts, and Happy was wearing a black bath cap and green shorts.[media]

"Hey guys" I heard Wendy yell as she was waving her arms in the arm trying to get our attention. She then walked over to us. She was wearing a green swimsuit with blue flowers and Carla was wearing a pink T-shirt with blue shorts. Erza soon came up to us as well, she was wearing a red bikini with an open black silky swimsuit cover-up.

"Come on Luce let's go swimming" Natsu grabbed my hand and dragged me into the water.

"Natsu, master asked Carla and me to come back to the guild" I heard Happy say to Natsu, he then started flying away with Carla.

"Ok bye little buddy" Natsu said back as we started swimming. When we were in the water we saw Gray and Juvia [Gray & Juvia are dating]. Juvia was on Gray's shoulders, when they saw us they came over to us.

"Hey, you guys wanna play chicken?" Juvia asked. We nodded in response. Natsu picked me up and put me on his shoulders.

Erza showed up next to us with Wendy on her shoulder."Hey, can we play with you guys?" Wendy asked. We all nodded.

"Ok, we all know how to play right? The last one standing wins! And remember only the ones on top can use magic" Erza yelled as she held onto Wendy's legs." Alright, START!"

"I call upon thee, Aquarius," I summoned her just in time, Juvia shot water at me but Aquarius blocked it and the water went to Wendy, Wendy then used her dragon roar to blow the water far away. "Aquarius shoot some water at Juvia" I told her while pointing to Juvia. Juvia then smirked. Why is she smirking???

"I was going to do that anyway" Aquarius said while shooting a ton of water at juvia but again She blocked it and it came back to me, Aquarius shot it back to her then Juvia shot it to Wendy, Wendy almost fell but Erza moved so fast that it hit someone on shore behind her.

"Sky dragon roar!" Wendy yelled shooting air/wind towards Juvia which made her fall in the water. She then looked towards me and had an evil smirk. "Any last word Lucy?" She asked. At this point I was scared, and to make matters worse my time with Aquarius was up and she went back to the spirit realm.

"Please don't kill my Lucy-boo" Natsu wined from under me, and Wendy started to laugh at him which made her fall into the water.

"We win Luce" Natsu yelled. I jumped off his shoulders into the water.

"Its getting dark I think we should head back" Erza said walking back to her car." Oh and congrats on winning you guys" And with that, they all left me with Natsu. When we were done packing everything we left to go home.

When we got home I made dinner and after we ate, we went to sleep.

"Good night Luce"

"Good night Natsu"
