Chapter 3: I Love Him So Much

[ Natsu POV ]

"Ugh I'm so tired" I whispered to myself. I couldn't fall asleep because I kept hearing someone coughing behind me. When I got up I saw that the clock read 3:30 am, I looked over to Lucy, she couldn't sleep since she kept coughing. "Are you ok Luce?" I asked her putting my arm around her.

"Y-yea I'm f-fine," Luce said trying not to cough while speaking. I got up and put some shorts on. "Where are you going?" She asked and sat up, I went back to the bed and pushed her back down on the bed.

"I'll be right back ok Luce? " She nodded in response. I left the room and went to the kitchen. I found some chicken noodle soup and heated it up, once it was done I put the noodles in a bowl and put the bowl on a plate, I went back into the bedroom and turned on the light and gave Lucy the plate. "This should help you a little." I said to her with my toothy grin.

She smiled and said "Thank you, sweety, I really needed this and I'm sorry for waking you up so early. I think being in the water for so long got me sick" Luce said, putting the plate on the table next to her. She got up so I rushed to her side to help her walk.

"Thank you Natsu, for everything" she smiled at me and gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"Anything for you love" I told her, helping her walk to the bathroom. When we got to the bathroom she shut the door in my face so I couldn't go in with her. That meany Lucy!

When she got out, we went back to the room. "Good night my love" I said wrapping my arm around her.

"Love you and good night"

[ Next Day ]

When I woke up Lucy was still asleep,  I got up and she opened her eyes."You were up all night, please go back to sleep. For me Luce?" she didn't say anything, she just hid her face under the blanket.

"But don't you want me to make breakfast" She whispered to me which made me smile.

"No, I'll just ask Mira for something. You need rest." When I left the room I heard the floor creak so I looked back at the room to see Lucy up and walking to me.

"I'm not sleepy and I want to say hi to everyone at the guild" she said walking to the closet and grabbing a shirt and some shorts. When she was ready we left and headed to the guild.

"Good morning everyone" Luce said to everyone in the guild.

"Morning" they all replied. I saw Luce walk over to Mira and started talking so I went over to Gray and Gajeel.

"Oi popsicle, tin head" I called for Gray and Gajeel.

[ Lucy POV ]

"Hey, Mira can I get a strawberry milkshake please?" I asked sitting in front of her on a stool.

"Sure" she said walking into the kitchen making the shake. A couple of minutes later she came back and handed me the shake. "Sooooo.." She said which made me a little confused.

"What do you mean?" I asked and she smirked at me then leaned in.

"Are you and Natsu thinking of having kids any time soon?" Her question took me by surprise, I blushed and when I looked at Natsu I could tell he heard what she asked. Dang dragon hearing!!

"Well I don't really know, I mean I want to have a child one day but if Natsu isn't ready to be a dad then I won't rush him" She sighed and looked away.

"But I want to be an aunt to some NaLu babies!" She whined which made me blush and laugh at her. "Hey, Natsu can you come here for a bit?" Mira asked him to come over so I put my head in my arms to hide my blushing face.

"What is it?" He asked Mira

"Do u want kids?" She asked him so I looked up to see his reaction but surprisingly he was smiling and not nervous at all by the question she asked.

"Well yea I'm ready, I love kids and can't wait to be a dad to my own" he smiled and made me blush even more. Oh gosh, how I love him.

"I'm getting sleepy so I'm going to go home and take a nap" I told them

"Ok I'll come with you then" Natsu said grabbing my hand and leading us home.

When we got home I went straight to bed.

"Luce I wanted you to know that I meant what I said at the guild." Natsu said as he plopped himself on his side of the bed and I soon joined him and we soon drifted off to sleep.
