Chapter 12: Being Distant

[ Natsu POV ]

The kiss between Lisanna and I lasted for a couple of minuets before we separated for air. Questions going through my mind saying 'why did I kiss her?' 'Why didn't I pull away?' 'Do I love her?'. Lisanna i guess noticed me looking deep in thought and a bit angry .

"Are you ok Natsu?" She asked. Ugg why did she kiss me? Does she not know I'm married? "Hello? Natsu?" She asked me as I glared at her. I know its not her fault for liking me, I'm just angry at myself for kissing her back. WAIT, does a kiss count as cheating?

I stood up as Lisanna looked at me confused and worried. "I got to go" I told her, then went inside the guild to see Nashi playing with Wendy, I didn't see Luce anywhere. I looked over to see Levy and Erza both sending me death glares. I walked over to Mira who also glared at me. "Have you seen Luce anywhere?" I asked her as she set the cup she was cleaning on the counter.

"I don't know! Why don't you go ask Lisanna!" She shouted at me. Why is she mad at me?

[ Lucy POV ] -- 10 minuets ago --

'Why?' Was the only thing I could think of. 'Why did he kiss her?' I thought. I got up and ran back into the guild, tears running down my face. Mira and Levy and Erza came up to me.

"Lu-chan what's wrong? Are you ok?" Levy asked me.

"Lucy let's go into the kitchen to talk" Mira, Levy, Erza and I then headed to the kitchen.

"Lucy! What happened, did someone hurt you? When I get my hands on them I'm going to-" I cut Erza off by saying "no". She looked at me with worry in her eyes. "Lucy you can tell us" she then said giving me a big hug.

"W-Well when I got here I couldn't find Natsu so I asked Juvia if she knew where he was. She told me that he went behind the guild with L-Lisanna so I went behind the guild and saw them talking and I didn't want to interrupt their conversion so I his behind a tree and watched them a-and..." I couldn't finish. I put my hands over my face as I started to cry even more remembering them kissing.

"Its ok, we're here for you" I heard Levy say as she put her hand on my shoulder.

I looked up at her and she looked worried. I then looked over at Mira who didn't look very happy. "What did Natsu and Lisanna do?" She asked, you could hear the anger in her voice.

I looked down at my feet and mustard up some courage then said " Th-They kissed!" The three girls looked shocked and angry at the same time, Mira more than the other two.

"I'm going to kill them!" they shouted.

"No please don't say anything. Please promise you won't" I begged them not to confront them and after five minuets they agreed. "So what are you going to do now Lu-chan?" Levy asked me which made me think, what am I going to do now?

"I don't know" I told them and with that said I left the guild.

I started walking around town not wanting to go back home or to the guild. I was walking in the park with my head down when I bumped into someone then fell on the ground. I looked up to see Sting. "I'm sorry Sting, I wasn't looking where I was going" I apologized. He smiled at me and extended his hand towards me, I grabbed his hand as he help me up.

"Its alright" he said. "Hey, you look as if you were crying. Is everything alright?" He asked a bit concerned. I looked at him and smiled. He may seem all mean and stuff but he is really a nice guy.

"Oh you can tell I was crying?" I asked as he nodded. "Do you even really want to know?" I asked him as he nodded once again.

"But first let's head back to the school, lunch is almost over" he told me as I remembered Nashi was still at the guild with 'him'.

"Ok but I need to pick her up from my guild" He sighed then nodded. "Let's go"

We finally made it to the guild, Sting stopped in front of the doors which made me stop. "Do you want me to come in with you or what?" Sting asked me. I forgot that we aren't in the same guild.

"You can come in" We walked in the guild as everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me and Sting. I looked to find Nashi then spotted her at a table in the back with N-Natsu. We walked over to her as Natsu glared at Sting. "Nashi its time to go back to school" I told her as I picked her up.

"To school we go!" Nashi shouted which made me giggled. I could tell that Natsu was jealous, he kept growling at Sting. "Stingy Bee can I get on your back?" Nashi asked Sting, which made me surprised and she also had a nickname for him.

"Stingy Bee?" I asked her

"Its a nickname I made for Sting" I looked at her and smiled. "So can i get on your back?" Nashi asked.

Natsu stood up, he looked mad and sad He then pushed Sting into a table making it brake.

[ Narrator POV ]

Sting got up and rushed in front of a angry looking Natsu. "What was that for?" Sting asked/shouted. "Cause your trying to still my family!" Natsu yelled back which made a certain blonde haired girl shock. "Bro I'm just here to get Nashi to bring her back to school" Sting said as he started walking out of the guild. "Let's go Nashi" Lucy said, grabbing her daughters hand leaving the guild.

Everyone in the guild had a blank expression on, well everyone but a certain white haired girl smirking at what happened.

'Natsu may not have noticed when I kissed him that Lucy was watching' Lisanna thought

Lisanna took this as a chance to get closer to Natsu, she walked up to him and gave him a hug which shocked him. "Its ok Natsu, I'm here for you" she whispered in his ear. He looked up at her as she gave him a warm smile. She then kissed the top of his head and walked out of the guild.
