I look at my face as soon as I wake up, in my vanity mirror. The wound is starting to scar over. I shiver as I realize there is a window open. Why did they leave a window open? I go to my room and I change. I put on some white skinny jeans, a nice gray t-shirt, a thick pink jacket wth fuzz around the hood, and some white work boots.

I brush my naturally wavy brown hair, and I leave my room. I ran my truck keys and I lock my hose up. I drive to Sam's and I park behind Paul's truck. I walk inside after shutting my truck off.

"The wound is scarring over." Jared says. "You look good."

"Girl!" Rachel hugs me. "I seriously love your legs!"

I do a pose. "I love my body."

"It a perfect!" Jared says in a gay voice.

I burst out laughing, Sam is even laughing too.

"We better go." I say, finally calming down. "We are meeting Edward, Bella, and Jacob at the foot of the mountain."

Sam has insisted I ride on Jared; I think Sam still feels bad about hurting me. I hope he gets to feeling better, it hurts me seeing him so sad....

I climb on Jared's wolf and we wait for the others to phase. Jared takes off when Sam gives him the okay, through mind link I believe. Jacob is standing with Edward and Bella at the meeting place.

"Edward will be running with you, Vani." Bella says. "Jacob will carry me in order to cover my scent."

"Won't Victoria smell me?" I ask.

"It will get her off me." Bella shrugs.

Edward looks at Bella, unpleased. He picks me up and flashes me up to the mountain too. Bella wants Victoria to come after me? Maybe she will kill me, everyone might be better off.

I sit out on the edge of the cliff, watching over the trees. Victoria and Riley, plus their army, won't be here until night fall, or early morning. I'll do what I can to keep Edward and Bella alive; even if it is putting my own lift at risk.

I hear the branches above my head move, and crunch a little. I look up, and there couches Victoria and her new toy. Victoria fights with Edward, and Seth takes on Riley. I stand up and I watch, until Victoria gets close to killing Edward. I grab a stray rock on the cliff edge, and I slice my wrist.

Victoria's eyes shoot towards me and her eyes grow black in thirst. She flashes up to me and she bites into my arm. She drops me when Edward kills her, and burns her.

"Why am I always getting bit?" I grumble.

Jared and Sam approach me in their human forms.

"Jacobs hurt." Jared says. "Emmett and Rosalie said they will help you, at your house."

"Take me home, then." I whisper.

Jared lifts me up and he jogs through the trees. Emmett takes me, he will get me their faster. He and Rosalie flash with me to my home. They lay me on the leather couch, and Rosalie sucks the venom out.

"You're probed to getting bitten by vampires." Rosalie smiles. "You'll be fine. The venom is out. Oh, Bella is marrying Edward. Edward is inviting you and Sam."

"I can't." Sam says, walking in.

"Who can be your plus 1?" Emmett asks.

"I can." Jared says. "I'm her best friend."

Rosalie writes his name down on a post it not from my coffee table. "Alright. See you there. It will be the first day of summer!"

Rosalie and Emmett leave shortly after that. Jared has left for home, and Sam carries me to my room. He strips to his boxers and he climbs into my bed behind me. He kisses my shoulder and we go to sleep.
