It is almost a wedding time. Jared has decided to get ready here too. Once I am fully dressed, I do my makeup and I make sure my scar is covered.

My dad will worry if he sees she slightest mark on me. He is one worrisome man, but he doesn't hover. I always appreciated that of him. He is about to be alone again; I know Bella is will be leaving with Edward enter the wedding.

"I won't be surprised if Isabella turns up dead." I tell Jared as I leave my room. "Ya know?"

Jared looks at me after tying his bow tie. "Yeah, I agree with you."

Once we are both dressed, we go to my truck. I hand him the key before I get into the passenger's side. Jared is smiling because he is able to drive my truck, yet again. For some odd reason, he looks he's driving my truck better than his own.

"Why is it that you would rather drive my truck than your own?" I ask before I could stop myself.

"Because it runs better, of course." Jared says. "My truck is a piece of crap."

He parks in the front of the Cullen's home, and we walk inside. Rosalie compliments me instantly when she finds me, and she leads Jared and I to the backyard. The ceremony was designed beautifully, Alice is accountable for that.

Jared and I sit on the grooms side, because he is the one who invited me with a date. Dad and Renee are on Bella's side. I smile before leaning against my friend.

"I wish my mom were alive." I whisper to Jared.

He wraps an arm around my shoulder. "I know... She is watching over you, Vanessa."

The ceremonial music comes in before I could reply. Everyone stands, and that's when u notice that dad has vanished. The back doors open, and I see dad with Bella. Bella looks beautiful in her wedding dress, shoes, hair, and makeup.

"She looks beautiful." I whisper.

"She does." Jared says. "But you look better."

I giggle before everyone is seated again. Dad waves at me before he focuses on the bride and groom.

---

I am the first on the stage at the reception, for words about Bella.

"Bella is my half sister, but she is still my blood." I start. "We share a dad, but we have separate moms. Bella and I argue like full blood sisters, and we make up. I never really got to know her over the years, but I'm glad I know her now. Congratulations, little sister. Edward, you better be nice to her. I will do whatever I can to make your life a living hell if you hurt my sister."

Edward salutes me as I leave the saw. Jared tells me I did great before Esme hands us a plate of roast beef. I thank the kind Vampire as I take a big bite of my food. Jared and I eat while others give their speeches. Renee sings an old lullaby she used to sing to Bella. Dad goes on about how he knows things just because he is a cop.

---

"That was a good wedding." Jared says as we walk outside, and it is dark now. He gets behind the wheel again; I just roll my eyes.

He drives us to Sam's, because he wants to see me all dressed up. I walk inside and Sam is on one knee, waiting for me. Jared gasps, looking like a girl.

"Vanessa Bernice Swan, will you marry me?" Sam asks, opening the ring box.

"Yes!" I shriek.

Jared flinches at the highness of my shriek as Sam puts the ring on my finger.

"Girl, like at the size of that rock!" Jared says gayly.

"I moved your stuff here while y'all were at the wedding." Sam says. "You're landlord picked up your key thirty minutes ago."

"I love with my fiancée; this is great!" I shriek.

"Girl, quit with the high shrieks!" Jared groans.

"Sorry!" I coo. "I need to have Alice plan our wedding for a week!"

I grab my cellphone, dialing Alice's number. I don't want to drive, because I suck at driving in heels.

"Hello?!" Alice says. "I already saw it, Nessa. I'd love to plan your and Sam's wedding. It will be a week from today. Let me talk to Sam."

I hang Sam my phone before I go to our room. I put on some of my purple spandex shorts and a black halter top before going back to the living room.

"She is will be over tomorrow." Sam grumbles. "Oh fun."

I smile wide and I go back to our room. I plop down into the bed, and I am out instantly.
