After they finished unloading the boxes, the two went back to Josh's apartment. "So, can I ask you something?" Sammi asked, hoping the answer was yes. "Sure" he answered, pulling blankets out of a box. "Are you..." Sammi started before being interrupted again. "Oh man, I forgot to say, my name is Josh." Josh said, putting his hand out.
Sammi was struck with an even more powerful sense, the realization that Josh was now living across the hall, and he wanted to shake her hand. "My name is Sammi." She said, gripping his warm hand. "Oh sorry, I interrupted you again, what were you saying?" Josh asked. "Are you" Sammi began, thinking she couldn't ask him now. "Are you going to need anymore help?" She asked in a panic. "Um, could you help me move my bed into the bedroom, my friend was coming over to help, but he got busy." He asked. No. Fricken. Way. Josh wants me to help him set up his bed. "Yea, sure" Sammi said, a small sweat breaking out on her forehead.Josh's bedroom only had a few things in it. A TV on the wall, some clothes on the floor, and what looked to be drum kit in the corner. "Okay, you grab that end, and I'll take this one." Josh said. The bed fell into place and just like that my interaction with josh was over. "Thanks for helping, it would have taken me all night." Josh said, smiling a half smile. "Anytime" Sammi replied, hoping to continue the conversation. But no, it was over. Sammi walked out of the bedroom with a sad look on her face. Why did it already have to be over? When suddenly, black. All she could see was black.
When Sammi came to, josh was running out of the bedroom and into the hallway. "Oh my God! Are you okay?" He asked with panic in his voice. Sammi couldn't talk, she had the wind knocked out of her. Josh carefully walked around the box she must have tripped over, and picked her up. He carried her all the way back to his room, and laid her carefully onto the mattress. "Can you talk?" Josh asked. He was worried. You could see it in his eyes. Sammi pointed at her chest, hoping he would understand she was talking about her lungs. "Your shirt? You want it off?" Before she could shake her head no, Josh took off Sammi's shirt, revealing her baby blue bra. Sammi vigorously pointed at her chest. "Chest? No. Heart? No. Boobs? No. Um. Um. Lungs! Lungs! Your lungs!" Josh shouted. She nodded her head. Josh looked around trying to think of what to do. When suddenly, Josh laid Sammi on her back, climbed on top of her, and pressed his lips against hers, and blew into her mouth. As soon as Sammi realized what was happening, she sat straight up. "Are you okay?" Josh asked, still sitting on top of her. "Kiss me again" she demanded. Sammi grabbed the back of Josh's head, his hair between her fingers, and pulled his lips to her's.
