Ella POV

"Honey, sweetie, wake up."

Aniyo, go away.

"Ella, sweetie?"

Shh.

"Ell, Ella, Elly." It sounds like mum...

"Ji Song-ah, you need to go somewhere today."

Aniyoo, I want to stay with my boyfriend; my bed.

"I know you lost your phone, Ji Song."

Yep, it got exchanged with some crazy EXO fan.

"Do you want your phone or not?" she sounds annoyed. "Because if you don't, I can just tell the person who has your phone now to throw it away."

My phone?

Wait... My phone?? I jolt up and looked at my mum, half-awake half-asleep. "H-how did you find my phone?" I asked and scratched my head. I spent the whole night trying to figure out who has my phone and she knows where it is? This is beyond exhausting.

Ugh, what time is it?

"Take a shower, than I'll explain."

It's a Saturday...

"Here's the clothes." she hands me one full set. Why is she going through my wardrobe at- I looked at my clock- 5 in the morning? Wait, five?! "30 minutes, you better be downstairs."

I looked at what she picked out for me; an oversized grey pullover with a black heart in the middle, a pair of black jeans, a pair of grey sneakers and a white knitted beanie.

"Muuummm..." I whined.

"30 minutes, or say goodbye to your phone." With that, she left the room. Ugh...

I lazily dragged myself out of bed and into the toilet. She better has my phone because it's a Saturday and it's five in the morning. Ella Park does not do waking up before sun rise.

"I'm done." I said and yawned, leaning against a wall as I entered the living room.

"That was faster than expected," she said. "You really are in love with that phone of yours. Teenagers these days." She rolled her eyes and took the car keys.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's just go already." I proceeded to push her out of the house impatiently.

:.:.:

The ride was silent, the soft sounds of the radio was the only thing that could be heard. I was staring out of the window, thinking of nothing in particular. There was nothing we needed to talk about, at least nothing I needed to tell her. I might not be giving her the cold shoulder but that doesn't mean I had forgotten what had happened.

I looked at mum and sighed.

I still can't believe about the fact that she only allowed me to accept that scholarship because of that band and not because she wanted the best for me. Its a freaking scholarship, what person wouldn't want free things?

"I know there's something on your mind, Jisong." she suddenly said which caused me to look away from her.

I kept silent.

"Spill it, Jisong-ah."

"It's Ella. Not Jisong." I said through my gritted teeth. "I don't like that name." I don't mind people calling me that once in a while but calling me Jisong all the way is a no. You honestly cannot blame me - I've been using Ella for the whole of my life.
