Warning boring chapter
Ella POV
Dear god,
Of all people, why an enemy?
I sighed and hit my head against the wall. This is just a dream right?
... Wait, no it isn't...
I looked at the money in my bag. At least I have money now, hehe. I feel rich having a lot of money.
I exited the building and walked randomly to a nearby marker. Maybe I can ask the people there where the nearest shopping mall is.
I visited the nearest stall and took a look at the food on display. Dayum, that looks daebak. "Honey rice cakes, for a sweet young lady?" A woman's voice interrupted me from drooling. I looked at her and smiled in embarrassment. The woman looked like she's in her mid thirties.
"What are these?" I asked her in my clumsy Korean. It isn't that bad, just my pronounsation is bad. The food looks so mouth-watering and the smell is heaven. This is food heaven and the reason why I stopped dieting.
"You're a tourist?" I nodded at her. "Ah, this is honey rice cakes, the best seller of all my food here," she points at the variety of food. Vavavum, I'm getting hungry at this point of the day; morning. That reminds me, I haven't ate my breakfast.
"Ah, I'll try one. How much?"
"One for 2000₩, three for 5000₩,"
"Ah, jinja?" Woah, that is cheap for something so delicious. I'll take three then, kekeke.
"Three, please. Kamsahmidha," I took out te fifty won bill and gave it to her with a shy smile. "Mianhe, I don't have small change,"
"Ah, don't worry. I have enough change," she rummaged through the cash register, "45,000₩, enjoy!" She gave me my change and a black plastic bag that had my breakfast. I don't think this will fill me though.
"Excuse me but do you know any breakfast place here or a mall, maybe?" I asked the lady. She seems approachable, might as well ask.
"Ah, Myeondeong is nearby here but you need to take a bus, just four stops and you'll reach. It opens at 10 though. As for breakfast, walk down this path here and there's a spot where you'll find several cafes."
"Oh! Kamsahmidha," I bowed ninety degrees at her. "I'll enjoy the food," I said cheerily and nod my head once more before walking away.
So, I don't think I'll shop now. I'm blaming mum for waking me up so early in the morning on a Saturday. I could have slept more. Why are they up so early anyways? Now I have to wait 3 hours till it opens.
-.-"
Aish, I'll just eat breakfast first. Walking down the road, more shops appeared but only some were open. Maybe this is the hot spot the lady was talking about. I saw a cafe and entered it.
The cozy auro was immedietely felt and I looked around the cafe. Wow. The cafe looked so cozy and homey. I like this cafe already. I went to the counter and looked at the menu. Ooh, they serve American pancakes! My favourites! "Annyeonghaseyo, can I get two pieces of American pancakes please," I said to the cashier who smiled at me brightly.
"Any drinks, miss?"
"Uhm, tea..?" I randomly blurted. Hmm, tea should be fine.
"9,600₩," woah. Damn that's much expensive than I thought it would. I handed a 10,000₩ bill to the cashier and waited at the side for my food. I looked around the cafe. It reminds me of home. There was a sofa beside the front door, matched with two pillows and a coffee table with fashion magazines pilled on it. The lights were not too brightly lit and the cushioned chairs made it have a cozy aura.
