ICE ICE BABY || JÜRI POOTSMANN
When waking up today, I felt more than one emotion at once.
I felt sad, that this was my last date and I would have to make a choice after today. I felt sad, because I was going to hurt two people.
Yet I felt excited. Excited about today, and to see what it would bring me.
I felt hopeful, that maybe this day would help me make my decision. Help me get things clear about what it was that I really wanted.
Yet I felt scared, what if I would make the wrong choice?
Like I mentioned, making decisions really was not my thing.
Never had been, and probably never will be.
The thoughts ran through my mind the entire morning, until they were cut off by Jüri picking me up.
"Are you ready?" He asks, and smiles at me.
I nod my head, "Yeah. What are we doing though?" I ask, once again not being able to hold back my curiosity.
He laughs at me, "Well, we're getting ice cream." He says. "But I'm not telling anything else."
"I'll take that."
We walk down to the garage that belonged to the hotel. He leads me to a car, and hands me the keys.
"You drive." He says, "I don't have a license." He admits, when he sees me looking at him questioningly.
"Okay, but you might have to tell me where exactly we are going since I'm driving." I say and wink at him.
Once again, Jüri just laughs at me. "Nice try, but I'll just give you directions as we go." He says, and gets in the passenger side of the car, leaving me standing outside and smiling like an idiot.
I shake my head, and get into the car quickly.
The radio plays softly, as Jüri occasionally tells me which way to go. It doesn't take long, before we arrive at an ice cream shop.
I find a place to park, and we enter the shop. "Which flavour do you want?" Jüri asks me,
"I don't know, I didn't think of this." I reply, "Just surprise me, I guess."
He chuckles in response, and then goes to order. "I'll be right back."
I wait patiently, and within a few minutes Jüri returns. He hands me one of the identical looking ice creams, and we leave the shop.
We walk down the road, and I let him lead the way as it came clear to me that he a destination in mind that we were headed towards.
"There is ice cream on your face." He says, and keeps on eating his, not telling me where.
I stop walking and frantically rummage around in my bag, looking for something that I could use a mirror.
Suddenly Jüri puts his fingers under my chin, forcing me to look at him.
"What are you waiting for? Get it off!"
Jüri slowly leans closer to me, running his thumb across my bottom lip. And I just stare at him, unable to move. It's almost as if his touch froze me on the spot.
"There you go" He says, shaking me out of my trance.
"Thanks." I manage to choke out, turning away awkwardly.
We continue to walk down the road in silence, both finishing our ice creams.
"Those flavours were actually really nice." I tell him.
Jüri smiles at me, "I hoped they would be. Lemon is so underrated!" He exclaims.
"I'll have to agree to that." I say and chuckle at his excitement over lemon ice cream.
He flings an arm over my shoulders and looks down at me, "You know, I'm really enjoying this."
I keep my eyes focused on the ground. Partly because I didn't want him to see me blush and partly because I didn't know what would happen otherwise.
We turn around the corner, and cross the street, walking right into a park.
Jüri lets go of my shoulders, and links just his pinky finger with mine.
We continue to stroll through the park, admiring every single thing. I keep tugging him with me to get closer to all the objects around us, but he doesn't seem to mind. Instead he smiles at my excitement, and happily walks with me to wherever I want to go.
We go all through the park, which takes us a few hours and decide to go back then.
"I'm so tired." I complain, when I already see the car coming into view.
Without so much of a warning, Jüri picks me up and flings me over his shoulder.
"Put me down!" I yell at him, struggling to get him to do just that.
Despite all my efforts, he doesn't listen and only puts me down once we're next to the car. I try to look angrily at him, but I fail once I see his innocent eyes looking at me.
"Just get in the car." I order, and do the same.
Neither of us really talk during the ride back home. Except for the occasional reminder of having to take a turn, it's all silent.
I park the car in the same spot it was in this morning, this day officially coming to an end.
And for the last time, I am accompanied by one of the three amazing guys I met as we walk up the stairs towards my hotel room.
"Do you know?" Jüri asks me as soon as we stand still in front of my hotel room door. "I mean, have you made your choice?"
"To be honest, I haven't yet. I want to sleep on it tonight, and meet whoever tomorrow." I admit.
"You know we are all leaving tomorrow early in the morning." He tells me.
"I know." I say. "I'll just have to chase after one of you." I say jokingly, and shrug my shoulders.
He chuckles at my words.
"I hope to see you in Talinn." Is all he says, before pulling me into a tight hug. He kisses my cheek lightly when he pulls back, and starts walking in the direction of the exit, not leaving me any time to react.

omg yes finallyI've written so much about jüri already he's become like my writing baby 😂
I'm doing one more part where I let her make a final decision and that will be the end of my mini-series
I have some other one shots waiting to be published as soon as this series is finished, they're all about one and the same person so guess who that is 😜
Also let me know if there is any particular person you'd like to read more about! (besides Justs, I already added him to my list! 😌)
Or maybe more series like these in the future?
