It's weekend so I decided to chill in a coffee shop since I'm also craving for caffeine. I wore blue dress that's just above the knee and white converse just like what I always wear when my ex boyfriend and I used to date.
I shaked away my thoughts when I reached the front of the coffee shop that gave me a lot of beautiful memories.
I entered the glass door and looked for a solo table, luckily I found one. I ordered americano and a slice of blueberry cake.
I roamed my eyes outside through the glass wall while waiting. Couples enjoying each other's company, families bonding while eating pizza and burgers, children playing bubbles. The sight is making me smile and giving me a happy feeling. Good thing the coffee shop is just established at the front of the park that's why I never get bored waiting for my orders.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a lady speaking. My order is here, finally.
As I sip on my americano, my eyes suddenly caught a familiar figure. White tshirt, black jeans, black beanie.
My heart started to race.
My hands are cold even though I'm not holding my coffee.
I need him to turn around so I can know that I'm not just hallucinating and he's really here in the same coffee shop as me.
He was standing, probably looking for a table when he suddenly turned his head at me.
Our eyes met and I can feel my heart skipped a beat or two.
He's really here.
He smiled.
Oh god.
He walked towards my direction and I'm crossing my fingers hoping that he will sit with me and will have a nice conversation like we used to always do before.
His eyes never left mine. He is getting nearer and nearer and I dont think I can speak a word when he says hi to me.
"Hi"
I felt chills ran all over my body. This is my first time hearing his voice again and I swear, I missed it.
I looked behind me to assure that I'm really the one he's greeting at. I turned my head at him and I almost jumped out of my seat when he's already in front of me.
"Yea its you. Can I sit here?"
His delicate and gentle voice almost made me sob. He gestured at the seat in front of me. I nodded as I really cant utter a single word.
He sat in front of me and I got just the right view to stare at his ethereal face.
I missed him.
"Why are you here?" He asked while smiling.
"N-nothing. I just wanna have a break. You, why are y-you here?" I uttered so I sipped at my coffee to lessen my nervousness.
"I'll just order something but I saw you so I sat here with you to have some, you know, conversation."
He smiled, his eyes are forming into crescents and I kid you not, I think I'm falling in love again.
Memories started to flashback in my mind.
I can vividly remember how we used to date here in this coffee shop,
When he used to order me a lot of food though I'm not in the mood to eat,
When we used to laugh at each other's jokes until other people would turn their heads and look at us in confusion,
When we used to feed each other just like those cheesy teenagers in the movies,
