Chapter 13

Grace's Point of View:

'HIDE THAT BOX FAST, NOW!!!' Flower screamed in my mind.

I took that box and threw it beneath the bed. My heart was pounding.

'Oh my goodness! Flower, who is at the door?! What should I do?!'

'Young lady, just open the door, and without thinking anything just say yes,' Flower said.

'Are you sure?'

'Yeah!' Flower said.

I opened the door with my shaky hands, hoping that I would not fall into any trouble.

"Will you go out on a date with me?" I saw Andrew with a nervous smile on his face.

"Yes!" I said without thinking anything. Oh my freaking gosh!! What the heck did I just do?!

"Great!! I'll meet you here tomorrow at 7," he said with a grin on his face. I was still in shock.

He inched forward and his rough lips touched my cheek, butterflies filled my guts. Sparks erupted in my body. Gosh!

My face turned red. I didn't know how to explain what I was feeling. But I was feeling something which I had never felt before.

"Bye," he said and walked away with a grin on his face.

'FLOWER!!! WHAT THE HECK?! WHY DID YOU TELL ME TO SAY YES??!!' I screamed in my mind after coming back to my senses.

I didn't hear anything back.

'Flower?!'

Some squeals distracted me. I looked towards the end of the corridor and saw three ladies and two chickens there. All of them were dancing and twirling, even the chickens.

"OH MY GOSH! THAT WAS SO CUTE!" I heard Katherine's voice.

"YES!" Elizabeth and Chafica said it together and clasped their hands.

The chickens made some noises and went away.

"SHE SAW US! RUN!" Chafica said. They looked towards me with wide eyes and ran away giggling.

I stood there with my mouth wide open, dumbfounded. What the fudge was happening?

I heard Flower's laugh. I closed the door and sat on the bed. What would I do tomorrow? What if I do something embarrassing?

'Ugh!!! Flower, why did you made me do that? What will I do tomorrow? What will I wear?' I shook my head and buried my face in the pillow.

'It was needed,' Flower said.

'Why?' I asked.

'Now is not the time. I promise you shall get all the answers. I am waiting to meet you in person, time is very near for us to meet. But time is going to be darker,' Flower's voice echoed in my mind. Thunder crackled again.

'We gonna meet?' I asked.

'Yes, we will meet. Young lady, I need to go now, don't open that box now. Its a parcel from me, you will get into trouble if you open it now,' Flower said.

'What?! That parcel is from you?' I asked. A sudden curiosity popped inside me, I wanted to open that box. What would be in it? Was it something magical?

I peeped down to see that box. I wanted to take and open it, but the thought of getting into more trouble refrained me from touching it.

"Flower, are you there?" I asked aloud.
