Chapter 50 - The Finale [Part 2]

Grace's Point of View:

"You have made the biggest mistake of your life by entering my mind."

My breath hitched.

I wanted to get out of here. I couldn't deal with this.

"Yes, you should get out of here," Lord Darkness said, and pointed towards two doors.

He can read my mind?

"Our minds are connected right now. Can't believe my mind is connected to a pathetic creature like you."

My bottom lip quivered.

"Scared, aren't you? I can feel it," he smirked and walked towards those two doors.

I was looking at him with wide eyes. The worst decision of my life was entering his mind. I shouldn't have done that.

"Life ALWAYS gives us choices, choose the wise one. Here's the door from where you can exit my wonderful mind," he said pointing towards the door on his left, "and this right door will make you go deeper into my mind. Which one would you like to enter?"

What should I do? I wanted to badly exit his mind but then what about the Klataria and its people? I didn't want to let them down. But I also didn't want to stay here.

I walked towards the left gate with reluctance.

Lord Darkness smirk widened.

I was standing in front of the left door, breathing heavily.

"Go through that door, young lady," Lord Darkness said, he was extremely excited.

I touched the doorknob but still didn't open the door. Will going through this door matter? Lord Darkness will kill me as soon as I get out of here... but not choosing the left door will result in more torture here.

I bit my lip.

No, I couldn't go through the left door. I can't let Lord Darkness win.

I push opened the right door.

"What are you doing?! Choose the left door!"

"No!" I said and walked inside.

The floor beneath my feet ceased to exist, and I started falling down.

I screamed.

My heart was pounding, I opened my eyes and saw an ocean. Oh goodness, I didn't even know to swim.

I fell in it and started trying to swim. Something grabbed my leg and pulled me inside water. I tried saving myself.

Is this my end?

I was deep into water, it had filled my lungs.

In a few moments, I fainted.

I opened my eyes and almost got a heart attack. I was in my room in the human world.

My feet turned cold. How was this possible? How am I back to the human world?!

Oh, my goodness!

I stood up and looked around with a big frown on my face.

I can't believe I am back to this hell. Was all of the Klataria my dream?

The door of my room opened and my so-called human mom entered.

She flashed me a motherly smile.

She was wearing a dress with petunias printed on it.

"Dinner's ready, Grace. I cooked your favorite food today," she said, her voice sounded so sweet.
