Grace's Point of view:

"I am Casper, I used to live in Flower's house," he said in a hushed voice.

I was still trying to get out of his grasp. I put more force but nothing happened. Ugh!

He opened the door and shoved me in, and I fall down on my room's floor. He immediately entered and closed the door. My heart started pounding hard.

Before I could scream he clapped his hands, a dark blue colored smoke ring emerged out of his hands and came towards my mouth. It stopped in front of my mouth, I tried to open my mouth but I couldn't. What did he do to me?

He pointed his finger towards me and I started floating in the air. I was filled with terror. He started pointing his finger towards my bed, and I floated towards my bed and involuntary sat on it.

"I am not going to hurt you, I needed to do this," he pointed towards my mouth, "or you could have screamed and I would be tortured in the dungeons."

Who the heck is he?! Why is he here?! How does he know to do all that?

My eyes were wide and I frowned at this guy.

He looked at me with an apologetic smile and scratched his neck.

"Flower used to take care of me, she used to talk about you, do you know where she is?" he asked.

How am I supposed to speak with my sealed mouth? I gave him an unimpressed look. He realized it and chuckled.

"Promise me that you won't scream, I swear, I mean no harm," he said and looked at me with his eyes full of sincerity.

I moved my eyeballs up and down trying to signal him a 'yes.'

He clapped his hands two times, and I was free of all his magical clutches. I could've yelled and called everyone here but I didn't. It wasn't the right choice; I need to hear him, he lived with Flower.

"Who are you? How could you do that? How did you enter the castle?" I asked Casper, without even trying to take breaths between words.

"You were better silent," he said and laughed at me. I glared and him but he gave me a cheeky smile.

"Just answer my questions," I said and crossed my hands around my chest.

"I am Casper and Flower adopted me as her grandson, so, uh, you and I are sorta siblings," He said and scratched his neck. He walked to the large window of our room and looked towards the moon.

"Freaking goodness! Really?!" I said and walked towards him.

"Yeah, but I am here to ask you about Flower. Where is she? Do you know anything about her vanishing? It's been more than a month and she hasn't come back," tears welled up in his eyes.

"I tried to find her so hard, but I failed. She used to talk about you, so I thought you would know something," he said with hope in his eyes.

My heart broke, how will I tell him about Flower's death? Should I tell him now? It doesn't feel right to talk about Flower's death now though.

I placed my right hand on his shoulder and squeezed it.

"I don't know about her getting vanished. I am so sorry about that," I lied, sadness engulfed me. I took a deep breath trying to make this feeling go away.

"Really?" Casper said, wiping a tear from his face.

"Yeah," I said and pushed away that feeling. It was not the right time for him to know.

"I just hope that she isn't dead. Because I got my powers and that was only possible if she gifts her powers to me at her time of death or if I meet my beloved," he said, looking down at his feet.

I clutched the pendant in my neck.

"I think I should go now, by the way, stay away from crows," he said and looked in my eyes with full of seriousness.

Goosebumps crept upon me, a heavy feeling came into my stomach. I wiped the sweat from my forehead. I remembered how that crow told me that I'll die. Was that crow telling truth?

"I-I...uh, w-why?" I tried to speak.

"Guidance will be given but you need to find answers to your questions on your own," he said and walked out of the room.

I stood frozen at my spot.

'You will die,' I couldn't remove that crow's words from my mind.

Third Person Point of view:

At the foot of a mountain, near a lake, stood a small cottage. Steam was running out of its chimney.

An old vampire couple was sitting on the dining table.

"Gloria, it's past midnight and we still didn't eat food," the male vampire said and pouted.

"Wait, David, now these old bones aren't that fast," she chuckled at him.

"Did you see those weird lights around the top of the mountain?" David asked.

"Oh come on David, your old eyes are fooling you. Don't think about it too much," she smiled. David took Gloria's hands in his hands and smiled back.

"Gloria, I really saw lights--" a knock on the kitchen's window interrupted them. They both turned their heads towards the window and a chill passed through their spines.

Two slaves of Darkness were smirking at them.

A slave of Darkness threw a jet of fire towards the kitchen and the house started burning. Gloria screamed.

Both slaves of Darkness started laughing.

"The past will be brought in the present," said the slave of Darkness with a moss green hood.

"You are very cruel, you know?" the second slave of Darkness said.

"Oh really, Donna?"

"Yeah, Chafica you are very cruel," Donna said and tried to contain her laughter.

Chafica removed the moss green hood from her head and they both started laughing.
