Grace's Point of View:
The smile on my face vanished when I saw a skeleton walking towards us.
"What the hell! Valia, look over there!" I said.
Blood drained from my face.
Some more skeletons stood up and started walking towards us.
"Rarisa!" Valia muttered a spell.
I waited for something to happen, but nothing happened.
Valia muttered the same spell many times but it didn't work.
Oh my gosh, I think I am gonna die today. Why aren't the spells working?
"What the f***!? What has happened to magic?!" Valia said with wide eyes.
He looked terrified too.
"My magic isn't working, Grace. We won't be able to teleport."
"Let's run, Valia."
He nodded and we started running away from those skeletons. I am glad these skeletons weren't fast.
More and more skeletons were headed towards us.
What the hell is going on here?!
"I'm extremely sorry, Grace. I didn't know this will happen," Valia said, running alongside.
"Oh, Valia what if these skeletons catch us? I don't think we'll ever escape this place. It's huge."
"I am dreading that," he said.
A person in black clothes was coming towards the skeletons on a silver disc. The only people traveling on silver discs are the Slaves of Darkness.
I saw a huge boulder.
"Maybe we could hide behind it, Valia? There's a Slave of Darkness there," I said, pointing towards the boulder.
"Good idea," he replied, and we headed towards the it.
I rested my back against the boulder and started panting.
"I bet my magic isn't working because of Lord Darkness," Valia said between his heavy breathes.
I groaned internally. I had run too much today: first in the city and now here. Today isn't a great day.
"How will we escape this place, Valia?" I said with my furrowed brows.
"I don't know," he said, frowning at me.
"It was a bad plan to come here," I mumbled.
"Yes, you are right," Valia said.
From the corner of my eye, I saw the Slave of Darkness flying near us.
"Only if we could have that person's silver disc to get away," I sighed.
"What a brilliant idea, Grace!" Valia whispered and took out a dagger.
He aimed his dagger at the Slave of Darkness.
A gasp escaped my mouth when I saw that dagger pierced that person. He fell down along with his silver disc.
"Is he dead?" I asked.
"I am not sure, let's go and check," he said.
I wasn't really happy with his plan of checking the Slave of Darkness is dead or not? There were so many freaking skeletons around.
Well, but we do need that disc.
Valia and I bolted towards the Slave of Darkness.
The silver disc was huge.
