"Professor Kwon? This is Cha Hyun Byul from the Dongseo University board."
"Ah, yes. Just a moment, please." Jiyong said, excusing himself from the bar table and headed outside—some place a bit quieter. He was anxious to hear their final decision, but kept his patience. He prayed that the interview went well. Apart from keeping his relationship from getting exposed to the whole school, he has never felt more nervous.
"Yes, I'm listening." He said, standing right beside the entrance.
"Yes. I just wanted to make sure if you are still considering to teach philosophy at this school. We have an open spot for you on Mondays and Thursdays."
"Yes—yes, I would love that! Thank you so much! When do I start?" He asked relieved.
"This upcoming Monday. Although, we are still in talks about your recent dilemma with one of your former students at Yonsei International University. Until further notice, we're expecting you to teach every week from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Is that okay with you?"
"Ne. Aygaesseubnida. Jeongmal gomabseubnida." (Yes, I understand. Thank you so much.) He said with ecstasy.
"Jilmun-iss-euseyo?" (Do you have any questions?)
"Aniyeo." (No.)
"Geuttaebuteo, wol-yoil-e boja!" (Then, I'll see you on Monday!)
"Ye! Kkeun-halkke! (Yes! I'm hanging up!) He said, then hung up. The only thing he wanted to do at the moment was tell Armani. However, he wanted to wait until he got to her place before he did. Shooting a quick text would ruin all the fun and the excitement. He was already worked up for Monday and it was only Friday. Getting a job this fast and easy has never happened before.

Later in the evening, Jiyong arrived at his girlfriend's doorstep with two bags of Jajangmyeon in each hand. He was craving for it all day. Plus, it was one of Armani's favorites. He rang her doorbell. After a few seconds, she answered it, leisurely wrapping her arms around his neck and locked lips with his. Jiyong smiled into the kiss and pulled her in closer by the waist. She deepened the kiss by cupping the back of his neck and leaning him towards her core. He was shocked by the sudden kiss that was oh-so passionate. He hasn't even told her the good news yet.
"Wow~ What was that for?" He beamed.
"What do you think it was for?" She slyly smirked.
"That you smelled the Jajangmyeon from your doorstep." He giggled.
"What?" She looked down at his hands and was abashed, seeing the two bags filled with the unforseen Korean dish. She was just about to make dinner for them—most of all, one of his favorites: Ganjang gejang. He surprised her for her birthday and she wanted to return the favor by surprising him with a special home-cooked meal.
"No~" She whined. As she guided herself to her couch, she slouched with a pout.
"No? What do you mean no? I thought it was one of your favorites." He said, chuckling as he shut the door after him and followed her.
"It is. But I was gonna make dinner tonight and surprise you."
"Well, it's not too late. We can save it for tomorrow." He suggested, plopping himself beside her. He pushed away one of her braids that was covering her face and placed it behind her left ear. She still wouldn't budge. All she did was sigh. He just killed the mood, but he knew just how to fix it.
"Babe, I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you. Okay?"
He leaned in close and left pecks down the crook of her neck. "Hmm?" He hummed. After a certain amount of pecks, she gave into him. He knew how ticklish she was at that spot, but he still took advantage of her weakness.
