“Watch out!” someone shouted as a young girl was about to be hit by a truck.
*hospital grounds*
A stretcher was being pushed in the hallway of the hospital grounds; “What happened to her?” a male nurse asked as he joined the pushing. “She got hit by a truck,” the female nurse answered. The patient was covered in blood stains, “She sure hit her head hard, hopefully she’d be fine in the operating room,” the male nurse said as they entered the emergency room.
“The bleeding has stopped, and her vital signs as of now are normal, so there’s no need for you to worry. For the mean time, she’ll be under observation,” the doctor said and left the room. Jenny sat beside her sister, Hanna. She looked at her and held her hand; “Are you feeling better now? I’m sorry for not being able to protect you, to take good care of you, to be there when you needed me. I, I’m very sorry,” she said in tears.
“Be good, okay?” Jenny asked Hanna as she fixed her sister’s hair. “I will. Don’t worry about me, I’m old enough to take care of myself,” Hanna answered with a beautiful smile. “I’ll be leaving then,” said Jenny and then hugged her sister tightly. “We’ll see each other soon, you don’t have to hug me this tight,” Hanna told her sister. Jenny closed the door of their condominium unit and looked at the door then left.
“It’s night already?” Hanna said in a low voice as she looked outside the window. She took her guitar and sat outside their balcony. “The stars are beautiful tonight. Well, they always are,” said Hanna with a happy face. “Jenny left me again, and father, I wonder where he went. I’m all alone again,” she said as she took her guitar.
Sean sighed, and took a cup of warm chocolate and accidentally glanced outside his balcony. He went out for air and lied down on the couch, and closed his eyes.
Hanna started to pluck, hum, and sing [Genie by SNSD, Acoustic Cover by Stella].
Sean heard the guitar playing that made him open his eyes, followed by a singing voice. He sat up and wondered, “I have a neighbor?” Sean stood up and slowly took a look at the balcony next to his and saw Hanna singing while playing the guitar. He went back, lied down on his couch again and listened to the rest of the singing.
[Stardust by Lunafly] Hanna opened her eyes, and without hesitation, she yelled, “I’m late for school!” She wore her school uniform and groomed her hair. She went out of her unit, and stood in front of the elevator. She looked at her neighbor unit, “Still no neighbor,” she whispered. Hanna was outside of the building when she looked for her phone. “Where is it?” she asked herself as she looked in her back pack. She stopped, “I forgot it upstairs” she told herself.
Hanna hurried back to the elevator. The doors opened and she waited for the passengers to come out as she smiled at them. She immediately entered and pressed the close button and the number 23. Sean looked at her, as she talked to herself, “Why did I forget my phone?” she blamed herself, looking irritated. She leaned her back on the elevator wall and saw Sean looking at her with a serious look. She was surprised that she screamed, “When did you come in?” she asked him. He just looked at her that made her look away from him.
They reached the 23rd floor, when she got out, “Wait for me, and don’t close the doors yet!” she yelled to Sean as he looked at her, dumbstruck.
Hanna was typing a text message when Debby saw her, “Hey!” Debby called her and put her arm on Hanna’s shoulder. Hanna looked at Debby, “Why?” she asked Hanna. “Nothing really,” Hanna said and smiled at her best friend.
“First day of school, I can’t wait to see hot guys,” said Debby as she fixed her hair. Hanna looked at Debby with an evil smile as she remembered the guy he met at the elevator. Debby saw Hanna’s smile on her mirror, “Why are you being weird again?” Debby asked, “Nothing,” answered Hanna with a big smile.
“We don’t usually do anything special during the first week,” Lyndon explained as he fixed his locker. Lyndon closed his locker and saw Sean looking around, “Shane,” he called Sean. “Just call me Sean,” Sean told him. Lyndon smiled, “Well, Shane does sound… Anyway, I can give you a tour if you want,” Lyndon offered.
Lyndon and Sean were walking when Hanna saw them. Hanna looked at Debby and pulled her, “I should go home now, I still need to clean, bye!” Hanna bid farewell to her friend. Debby was waving at Hanna, “Clean… She cleans?” Debby asked herself.
Sean placed the plates back in the cabinet and went out to his balcony. “I almost forgot to send a text message to my sister, I didn’t want to make her worry,” Sean heard his neighbor talking. “Thank you stars, for always being there for me, for listening,” Hanna told the stars as she looked up at the night sky. Sean was secretly looking at her, “She’s talking to the stars? As if it can hear her,” he whispered and looked up at the sky. He was amazed by the night sky, “I didn’t know the view up here was this beautiful,” he whispered.
Sean went to their class room but saw no one in there. “Hey, everybody’s outside,” said Lyndon when he saw Sean. [Butterfly by Jessica and Krystal Jung] Sean was looking around again, Lyndon smiled at him, “This is an assembly for welcoming the students,” he explained. “Here the principal will welcome us, and tell us to prepare for the general assembly to be held some time this month,” he added. “But isn’t this a general assembly already?” Sean asked Lyndon. “Well, yeah but she won’t be discussing the rules here, just welcome us and tell us something about the school and the like,” Lyndon explained as he looked at the stage.
