“So I lay my head back down, and I lift my hands and pray. To be only Yours, I pray; to be only Yours. I know now, You’re my only hope…” Hanna sang as she played the piano in the music room. She suddenly stopped playing and frowned, “I’m getting hungry,” she told the piano as she looked at the piano scores.
Sean saw her and went to the cafeteria. While walking, Sean met Lyndon, holding a paper bag. Lyndon smiled at him, “Have you eaten?” he asked Sean. Sean shook his head as he looked at the paper bag, “You can eat with Debby, she’s in the cafeteria. I’m going to bring these to Hanna, she’s probably starving right now,” Lyndon told Sean and left.
Sean sat with Debby as they ate. Debby was looking at him, “Are you usually like this?” Debby broke the ice as she looked. Sean stopped eating and looked at her, “I mean, don’t you really speak?” she went on. He ignored her and continued eating his sandwich. “I’ll feel upset if I leave you eating here alone, in this big cafeteria,” Debby said in a low voice. Sean looked at her, stood up, and then left her. Debby was surprised, “Why that…” she whispered as she looked at Sean walk away.
“You’re my only hope…” Hanna finished the song at her balcony. She took a deep breath, “So much for practicing,” she told herself as she looked at the view. “So many busy people; they’re like my sister. I wonder how she’s doing,” Hanna said. “Thank you for making me happy when I feel lonely. You always shine bright in the night sky,” she added and smiled at the stars. She put her left hand up in the air and looked at it as she raised it having the night sky as the background.
Sean looked up at the night sky and thought deeply.
Sean was walking when he saw Hanna standing at the corner of the street. He looked at the stop light; it was in the color red. “Why isn’t she crossing?” Sean thought. He ran, and walked fast upon getting near her. He saw her look at the stop light and was about to cross, the stop light’s color turned to green. He grabbed her by her shoulders and pulled her back.
The vehicles were moving, the stop light in the color green. Hanna looked behind her and saw Sean holding her shoulders. He looked at her with an irate expression; she looked at the moving vehicles, removed her earphones, and looked back at Sean. They looked at each other; “Uh…” Hanna uttered. He let go of her and stood beside her. Hanna looked at the ground, then at Sean. They crossed the street together, and walked together to school.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” Debby asked her friend as she sat beside Hanna. “I almost got bumped,” Hanna told her friend. Debby looked at her, “I was about to cross the street while the vehicle stop light’s in green,” she added. “And, why were you? Were you out of your mind?” Debby asked. Hanna shook her head, “I was sleepy, and I had my earphones on,” Hanna answered. “Then, what happened? Were you able to wake up your senses or what?” Debby asked, “He… He saved me,” Hanna answered.
“As you all know, the general assembly is fast approaching. So this Saturday, we will have our general rehearsal. Ten in the morning, don’t be late, okay?” Ella announced to section 3. The teacher left them, and they had spare time to do school matters. “So he was behind you, he grabbed you, and saved you?” Debby asked Hanna as she sat in front of her best friend. Hanna nodded, “What if he wasn’t there? You could’ve been hit,” Debby told Hanna. “I know,” Hanna told Debby.
[Hello by Hyorin] “I almost got myself into trouble today. Next time, I won’t be sleepy and I won’t wear my earphones anymore. Luckily, he was there. Did you guys send him for me?” Hanna smiled as she asked the stars.
[Butterfly] “Why the auditorium?” Hanna asked Debby as she pulled her. “You look so cute!” Debby told Hanna as she took a picture of her. Hanna had a dagger look at Debby, “I’m telling the truth, okay?” Debby smiled and took another shot. “You look cute in those skirts,” said Lyndon as he approached them. Hanna looked at Lyndon, “Do you want me to hit you?” she asked him. Lyndon shook his head. “Where’s Mr. Cutie?” Debby asked Lyndon when Sean suddenly arrived. Debby took photos of Sean. Sean looked at Debby, “She’s just in to photography,” Lyndon explained to Sean as he left to take a sit. “Stop it,” Hanna told Debby.
“He looks so handsome wearing such attire. Casual, but he looks formal and really good in them,” Debby described Sean. Hanna took a look and had her heartbeat beat faster. She placed her hand over her chest again, “What’s wrong with you?” she asked herself. “Aren’t you two going to do something?” Debby asked Lyndon and Sean, “No, we’re just going to watch,” Lyndon explained and smiled.
“It’s almost the end,” Debby stated as she prepared her camera. “You brought a professional camera just to take rehearsal pictures?” Lyndon asked as he watched Debby try the camera. Debby looked at Lyndon, “I like photography, this is mine, and I’m taking the pictures; does any of those concerns you?” Debby asked him back. Sean suddenly stood up and left the auditorium. “Where’s he going?” asked Debby, Lyndon shrugged. Debby hit Lyndon, “How can you be friends with him without you knowing him?” she asked him.
“Maybe he doesn’t want to watch me perform,” said Hanna as she stood up and went to the back stage. Debby and Lyndon looked at one another, “What does that have to do with Sean leaving?” Lyndon asked Debby.
“He really left. I haven’t seen him around,” said Lyndon as he talked to Debby and Hanna. “I wonder where he went,” Debby said as she looked at Hanna who look frustrated.
“Did he hate me? What did I do to him? Why does he always look at me with such serious eyes, as if I’d done something wrong? He watched all performances and left when it’s my turn? Oh stars, do you know why???” Hanna asked the stars that shine brightly in the night sky. “You think the stars can answer your questions? Foolish,” said Sean as he stood in his balcony.
