“Thank you for letting me stay here for awhile. See you at school,” Hanna told Sean and walked to the door again. “I sent him away,” Sean went on with the story. Hanna stopped walking and wondered. Sean stood up and went to Hanna. “Why did you do that?” Hanna asked in a low and humble voice. “I told him you have a place to stay at,” Sean said. Hanna had her right hand over her left chest again as she looked at the ground, knowing she can’t look at him.
[Stardust] Sean moved closer to Hanna, “I told him you’ll stay at your school mate’s, and so he smiled and went away,” Sean finished the story. He noticed Hanna as she felt her chest; he moved back a little and moved his face closer to Hanna’s. “Are you okay?” he asked her, Hanna moved back and looked at Sean. “Why did you tell him that?” she asked Sean with a quite loud voice, “I don’t have any place to stay at. He told me before that he’ll help me, or he’ll let me stay in his office,” Hanna told Sean.
“I don’t trust him,” Sean said and walked away from her. When he reached the living room, he stood there with his back facing Hanna. “Stay here,” he said, loud enough for Hanna to hear. “And this will be your bed,” Sean said, pointing to the living room.
“Why are you doing this?” “Just because,” Hanna recalled as she thought and thought why Sean let him stay at his place. Hanna continued unpacking her things and placed them in the cabinet that Sean let her use. She stood up and fixed the couth and the pillows.
Hanna lied down on the couch and covered herself with the blanket. Sean went to the living room and looked at Hanna. “Why aren’t you sleeping?” Hanna asked Sean as she lied down. The door bell rang, and he just looked at her.
They quietly ate in the dining room and Hanna initiated in washing the dishes. After washing, Hanna went back to the living room and saw Sean sitting on one of the couches. She also saw a piano to her left. Hanna smiled as she touched the piano, “Can you play this?” she asked Sean. Sean just looked at her; he stood up and went to his bedroom. “I was just asking,” Hanna whispered as she looked at the piano.
Sean went out of his bedroom to drink some water when he did not see Hanna in the living room. “I thought you all have abandoned me but I know you’re all up to something! Thank you, for not leaving me, and most of all for haring me. Thank you for sending someone to look after me, someone who’s able to… Thank you, and… I wish he won’t find out,” Hanna talked to the stars, but this time, in someone else’s balcony. Sean watched her as she talked and smiled at the stars.
Hanna cooked breakfast for them, “It’s already nine and he’s still asleep,” Hanna whispered as she read in the living room. “He wakes up late during the weekends?” she added and went on reading. Sean went out of his room and saw Hanna studying in the living room. “Oh, you’re up. I cooked breakfast…” uttered Hanna but Sean just walked away and went to the dining room.
Hanna heard Sean clean up the table; she immediately stood up, “I’ll wash the dishes!” she yelled and ran to the kitchen. The floor was wet which caused her to slip. Sean caught her. “Will you be careful?” Sean asked her as he held her waist. He moved his lips closer to Hanna, and whispered in her ears, “0216” he whispered. Hanna stood up and went to the sink to wash.
Hanna was reading their English book when her phone rang. “Who’s calling, I’m reading the important part,” Hanna uttered as she kept her eyes on the book, and her left hand reaching for her phone on the table. Sean stood beside her and saw her phone on the floor. He picked it up and looked who was calling, “Jenny,” he mentioned as he took Hanna’s hand. Hanna immediately looked to her left when she felt a cold hand.
Hanna pulled her hand and took her phone and answered the call. Sean left her.
H: Hello? Who is this?
J: How have you been? Have you been well?
H: Jenny? Jenny?
Sean went out of his room and saw Hanna lying on the couch, hugging their English book. “Sleepyhead,” he whispered as he walked to the living room. He knelt before Hanna and studied her face. He fixed her hair, “When will you come back?” Hanna suddenly asked as she slept. Sean looked at her and remembered that it was her sister who called.
“I overslept!” Hanna yelled as she quickly stood up, going to the kitchen. Sean was sitting next to the couch she was sleeping on. Sean’s eyes followed Hanna’s movements, “Where are you going?” he asked her as he stopped reading the book. “I’m supposed to cook,” Hanna answered. Hanna went in to the dining room, “But you already did,” Hanna uttered as she covers her face with her hands.
Sean and Hanna silently ate in the dining room. Sean drank his drink, and looked at Hanna. “What did your sister tell you?” he asked in a low voice. Hanna stopped eating, put down the spoon and fork, and faced Sean with a solemn facial expression. “I’m sorry for causing you so much trouble,” Hanna told Sean.
Sean and Hanna were about to go out of the unit when Sean heard voices outside. He opened the door and saw some reporters in front of Hanna’s unit. Sean suddenly blocked the door, and didn’t let Hanna go out. One of the reporters saw Sean and went to him.
“Hey, do you know the person who lives next door? Is he still here?” the reporter asked Sean. Sean shook his head and went back to the door. “Have the reporters seen you before?” he asked Hanna. Hanna shook her head. Sean quickly pulled her and brought her straight to the elevator.
“Maybe he’s not here anymore,” the others said. “That boy just now, he looked familiar,” the reporter thought.
