I waddled down the stairs and to the front door. You guessed it, the food had arrived. I let him in and we headed to the kitchen.

"Hmm, let's see if daddy pays attention." I said, patting my stomach for a sign of the baby. He shook his head, no doubt probably tired of my spoiled ass.

"Strawberry shake, check. - I looked over my shoulder, smirking at him. "Double cheeseburger and onion rings. Yass!"

"You aren't going to keep feeding my baby junk food, Nia."

"Man, hush allat. I'm hungry, okay? It won't hurt lil mama or daddy to be a little chunky." I slurped my milkshake. Ahh.

"Whatever you say woman. I gotta get going, check in on you later?" With that, he kissed my head and left back out the front door.

Sleep began to set in. I made sure the front door was locked and started the journey back up the stairs to snoring beauty. Thank goodness I had the day off from work tomorrow.

Josie's POV

I awoke to the pregnant queen beside me, snoring lightly.

I leaned over, kissing her cheek before making my way to the bathroom.

I washed my face and brushed my teeth then headed down to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Pancakes and eggs cooked as I popped the bacon in the oven.

I know y'all are probably wondering how I feel about the whole situation.. And we'll get to that, later.

Breakfast was finished cookin and I was putting everything on the island. My baby made her way down the stairs, stretching and yawning.

"Good morning beautiful, I made you and little one breakfast." I say, leaning in for a kiss.

"I knew I smelled bacon! Thank you baby." She smiled. Food was definitely her best friend these days. I chuckle to myself, noting her fast food trash from last night. We sat and began to dig in.

"Mm this is so good babe. Oh! I almost forgot to jot it down, but I have my check up on the tenth of this month." She smiled up at me.

"Yeah? Exiting news baby, would you want me there, or is Caleb coming?" I asked before forking my eggs.
The room went silent waiting for her response.

"Did you hear me, bae?"

"Why would you ask me that, Josie? You know I want you to be there, what, you got other plans?" She sniffled, oh lord. The hormones. Her face was becoming red and blotchy.

"Nia baby, no I don't have other plans, what could be more important than this? Huh?" I say, wiping her tears.
Her big brown eyes looked into mine. "Are you sure? I know we agreed on this but you can tell me if you changed your mind." She said, looking like a lost little puppy.

"I haven't changed my mind, and there's nowhere I'd rather be than at that appointment with you. Okay?" I said, taking her hand. She sniffled, nodding her head.

Lord, give me strength.
