Nia's Point Of View

I couldn't wait to see their faces, a baby boy and a

baby girl. My mind was already doing double time

on the names and I couldn't wait to shop, my babies

would have it all. Ma, Caleb and Jo were all making

name suggestions. Doctor Yahara laughed, mouthing

good luck. We asked for hella sonogram pics, of course.

After learning the sexes and that both my babies

were healthy put me in the best mood. Nothing

could ruin it. We all stood outside talking and

looking at the lil humans. "Lunch, ladies? My treat of course." Caleb spoke up.

"That's a yes from me, and these two." I pointed down at his children.

"Of course sweetheart, mama ain't passing up a good meal!" That was ma, we could fuck some food up!

"I'm in, pretty boy." Jo agreed.

"How about we take my truck? I have extra room today."

"Oh what, Aston in the shop, big spender?" I jibed

before we all headed to the car.

Caleb's Point Of View

Two healthy babies, three beautiful ladies on my

arm. Life was great. Nia's mom was just lovely, a

true southern belle, and thick too, lord. My kids nana was a cougar. We all wanted soul food,

especially mama bear beside me. She looked so beautiful, more round by the day it seemed.

I knew I had to play it cool though, Josie never quite left Nia's side, surely I would be caught. But, I wasn't a man to quit, not now, not ever. I'll have my family..

I'm falling in love with her but can't bring myself to tell her yet. Maybe after the twins are born? I thought to myself as the ladies talked amongst

themselves. My world might just turn out alright after all.
