Chapter 2

                                                                    Break

Maya's POV

We have a whole month to ourselves and I'm gonna spend it wisely or should I say crazily? Well I prefer crazily but whatever it's me and a big break from university. Sky and Yuna are going to be going to the carnival, restaurant and other stupid places full of people in which I'm not very fond of people. Besides when they see me they act like I'm about to rob their arses  or even murder them, last time I went to this shop and this old lady was like "take anything you want but please don't beat my white ass" I couldn't help but laugh at her I assured her that I wouldn't do such a thing and told her that if she wants any help she should come to me.

Guess what I get a bag of Lays chip and already made pies that are waiting to be put in the microwave and be eaten by me. I'm watching Japanese anime in my laptop and it's like really nice I'm on the 20th episode and the main character sword's just transformed into it's second form so like yeah yah that's like great.
Sky: Lwandle come on stop watching anime and let's go to the mall
Yuna: Please Lwandle I'll buy you a burger
Lwandle: Which one?
Yuna: Extra large
Lwandle: Does it even exist?
Sky: No she meant large now get your arse up and let's go.

I get up put on my sweatpants and baggy shirt then some sneakers and we head out.

At the mall

We've been walking like for almost like 15 minutes and I know I seem like I'm very lazy but I'm not okay in fact  I am very hungry and I want my burger now.
Sky: You hungry?
Yuna: She is
I follow them to burger king and I sit at the table whilst they order, when I turn to see if their done I see that rich kid's face what's his name again? Little bitch no Kanji
Kanji: Hey
Lwandle: Are you talking to me?
Kanji: No I'm talking to your ghost
Lwandle: I thought so too
He sits down besides me and before he says something my friend's sit at the table and introduce themselves
Sky: I'm Sky her best friend
Yuna: Yuna also her best friend
Kanji: Nice to meet you
Yuna: We are going to the carnival tomorrow would you like to come?
Sky: Please do Lwandle will be the only one without a partner
Lwandle: What?!
Kanji: She can spend time with me
Sky: Really?
Kanji: Sure I don't mind as long she promises she will behave
Yuna: She will
Lwandle: I'm right here in case you forgot
Kanji: Oh your ghost can talk?
Lwandle: It only talks to people like it which means you
Kanji: See you tomorrow
Lwandle: I'm not coming
Kanji: You are
With that said he leaves the restaurant with a smirk on his face.

Sky: You are going tomorrow right?
Lwandle: No
Yuna: Please just go
Sky: You are doing great with your studies and your parents are more than proud off you and besides Lwandle you need to start seeing people
Lwandle: Let me guess Kanji
Yuna: Yes he even offered to let you come to his place and rumors say he never let's any girl into his house
Sky: His play toys sleep with him at their places
Lwandle: So?
Sky: Lwandle I have been so patient with you waiting for you to get out off that bubble of yours and to tell the truth your losing us too Lwandle
Yuna: Lwandle we miss you so much please just try it at least for our friendship
Sky: We've come this far so why back out now?
Lwandle: Okay I'll do it but for you girls

Next day

I have to admit Kanji's place is nice but the art in his walls show so much pain, all of these paintings show loneliness it's as if they are telling me his lonely but there's no way he'd be lonely his the rich kid and besides all rich kids are never sad.

Kanji: What would you like to eat?
Lwandle: Anything
Kanji: Even me?
Lwandle: I meant food
He prepares popcorn but what was I expecting he's rich he can't cook
Kanji: come on let's go
I follow him and we enter a room with a bed and a big flat screen
Kanji: Lay down
I follow instructions because obviously this will probably my last time sleeping on a king sized bed so I might as well enjoy. He lays beside me and puts the popcorn bowl in between us and the movie starts.
After the movie ends
Lwandle: His hand moved he could have walked again
Kanji: But he chose not to
Lwandle: She showed him love and yet he still left her, she put him before herself
kanji: That's why it's called Me Before You
Tears start flowing down my eyes
Lwandle: He even helped take her to school I mean that's great but she loved him unconditionally even though he was suffering but she was trying to bring him back but it wasn't enough
He pulls me to his chest and hugs me very tight I don't wanna let go
Kanji: It was enough but this is how love goes
Lwandle: Then I'm afraid of love
Kanji: Me too Lwandle
Wait he pronounced it correctly
Lwandle: I don't want to watch another movie
Kanji: You can just sleep
Lwandle: Why are you being so kind?
He then pushes me away and just watches a game
Lwandle: I'm serious
Kanji: So?
Lwandle: One time you hate me the next you hug me then you leave me like he left that girl
Kanji: I still hate you
Lwandle: Why did you even invite me?
Kanji: I don't know
