Lwandle's POV

It's been four years since I enrolled in Harvard university and I have to say it's good because I have two great friends:
Sky- she is white and she is dating this Mexican dude and they started dating two months after we arrived here. She is very patient and she is too friendly which sometimes annoys me but I still love her.
Yuna- she is Japanese and she is seeing a dude who is half Spanish and half Italian, they started dating last year. She is very impatient and only has passion for animals, she only shows love to her family, boyfriend and us.

Then it's me I'm more of the tomboy and single girl in our club of three, I'm currently seeing this dude that I read about in a romance novel and it's all imaginary either than that it's all good. People have a hard time pronouncing my name so that's why I have two friends it took them a whole year to pronounce my name clearly but I don't really mind because it's Zulu and they don't know Zulu.

"Boom"
Maya: Oww oh no I don't remember the page I was reading who ever threw this ball at me is gonna get it.
Kanji: Miss are you okay?
He leans in so close to me and all I could see were his gray eyes no silver, whatever they are so beautiful and I can't look away help somebody help me
Kanji: Miss I'm sorry about what I did but next time you should stop sitting here because I like throwing the ball this side which means it will keeping hurting you and I can't keep on saying sorry

What did he just say?
Maya: Excuse me? Last I checked students are allowed to sit here
Kanji: Okay but just know the ball will hit you again and this time it will be on purpose
Maya: We will see about that
Yuna: He didn't get it I have to say I'm shocked
Maya: Next time he will

He takes the ball then walks away next thing the same fucking ball hits me again, what the hell is wrong with the dude.
Sky: He's so rude and we are in the same business class
Lwandle: How do you even deal with him?
Yuna: Let's just go he's coming
Sky: Yep
She says popping the "p"
We stand up and head to our apartment. We have a very big apartment and I pay the rent, Sky pays the bills and Yuna buys the food so yeah.

At the apartment

Sky: Did you hear that some rich kid bought this building?
Lwandle: No really?
Yuna: Yep and rumors say he's coming today to meet all the people living in the apartments
All of a sudden someone knocks at our door
Sky: Lwandle you pay rent so go
Lwandle: Do I have to?
Yuna: Yes love but don't worry you can always come right back to us your loving parents
Lwandle: I left my parents in South Africa.

I head to the door and when I open I see a young man wearing black jeans and white shirt with black sneakers busy on the phone. He has black hair and he fixed it into a vintage ponytail.
Lwandle: How can I help you?
Kanji: Oh it's you
He says looking disgusted
Lwandle: Let me guess your the rich kid everyone's talking about no wonder you behave so badly
All of a sudden I had the courage to speak
Kanji: What's your name am Kanji the person you will be paying your rent to and I can increase just your rent anytime I want
Lwandle: My name is Lwandle Black
Kanji: Lwandle such a strange name
Lwandle: It's pronounced Lwandle not lawn dale you know what forget it, it was very nice meeting you
Kanji: Who said I was done talking?
Lwandle: No one besides I just ended the conversation
Kanji: Yet your still talking?
Lwandle: Bye
Kanji: Black girls
Lwandle: What?
Kanji: Nothing
Lwandle: What's wrong with being a black girl?
Kanji: You amaze me I said it the first time yet you pretended like you didn't hear me now all of a sudden you heard me. Your so foolish young lady.

He just walks to the elevator and before the elevator doors close he smiles at me wait did he really smile? Nah I was just imagining things hunger can make you do that.

Lwandle: Yuna I'm hungry
Yuna: Love really? I've got a date with Antonio sorry love bye
Lwandle: Sky I'm hungry
Sky: Lwandle we are double dating so order some pizza okay love oh and piece of advice get a boyfriend it's about time and besides it's not like your parents can see you
Lwandle: What do you mean?
Sky: The only reason your single is because of your parents and the fact that they are very strict so just try to chill love okay?
Lwandle: Sure

Chill huh? I don't think I will ever do that.
