Chapter 3

Kanji's POV

That chick Lwandle I went online to learn how to properly pronounce her name and when I finally try to let her in and to show I haven't forgotten her she just had to remind me of the fact that I was trying to change for her. The girl that I saw four years back.

Flashback
I was sitting at the library reading a novel about Romance which trust me isn't my favorite I've been trying to find love and most of the girls of this school want money.
Lwandle: Hi
I look up and see a black female with brown eyes no their black actually it's both, she is smiling and I have to admit she doesn't have the prettiest smile but her beauty is different. She is a rare kind and trust me I've seen girls of all races but she is different she is more than beautiful. I never believed people when they said God creates beautiful creatures but know I do because she is right in front of me.
Kanji: Hi
Lwandle: Can you borrow me that book I'm writing an assignment based on it
Kanji: Sure but tell me your name first
Lwandle: It's South African
Kanji: My name is Asian
Lwandle: Lwandle
She takes out a pen and piece of paper and writes it down
Kanji: Kanji
She also writes it down
Kanji: I won't forget you
Lwandle: Me too
End of flashback

Ever since that day I have been keeping eyes on her I even stopped seeing other girls for her.
(Phone rings)
Kanji: Hey
Taylor: I'm back
Kanji: Should I come and pick you up?
Taylor: No I'm right here
He gives me a bro hug and I also give him a bro hug
Kanji: I missed you
Taylor: Just so you know I'm staying with you
Kanji: I have no problem with that
Taylor: How's life?
Kanji: Great I'm graduating soon and besides I finally spoke to her
Taylor: Lwandle
Kanji: Yes!
Taylor: Congrats bro, so is it official?
Kanji: I'm working on that
Taylor: When will I meet her?
Kanji: Not sure
Taylor: Hopefully soon
Kanji: How's it going with your girl?
Taylor: About that she's moving in with some girls so can we help her go to that apartment?
Kanji: Yes

At the apartment
I notice we are heading to Lwandle's place so I quickly talk to him on the side
Kanji: Taylor we are heading to Lwandle's apartment
Taylor: Great
We knock on the door then Lwandle opens the door
Lwandle: Lisa!
Lisa: Lwandle!
They hug each other like they've known each for a while
Lisa: Come in guys
We enter and I notice Lwandle hasn't noticed me
Lisa: This is Taylor my boyfriend and this is Kanji his best friend
Lwandle: Nice to meet you Taylor and hello to you too Kanji
Kanji: Look I'm sorry about last time
Lwandle: Which part?
Kanji: All except the good parts
Lwandle: I forgive you
Taylor: She is beautiful good choice Kanji
Lisa: Kanji really admires you Lwandle
Kanji: Let's unpack your things Lisa.
I notice Lwandle is staring at me and she is blushing when I turn to look her way she looks at the ceiling. Lisa and Taylor go to Lisa's room.
Kanji: Look
Before I carry on she interrupts me
Lwandle: Do you still remember the day we met?
Kanji: Yes I do very clearly
Lwandle: You were reading my favorite book
Kanji: You are so still so beautiful and I swear that everyday you get better
Lwandle: Really James Arthur's lyrics?
Kanji: It explains my feelings
Lwandle: You know I've been single for you
Kanji: Me too
Lwandle: Are you ready?
Kanji: Not yet please bear with me
Lwandle: Always
