(Y/N)= Your Name
(Y/H/C)=Your hair colour

You climbed the monkey bars at the park with ease.

Even though you were 15, you were still a kid at heart.

Monkey bars were always your favourite thing to do on the equipment, anyways.

"(Y/N), look here!" One of your red-headed friends grinned and slid down the slide.

"We're such kids" Another friend said.

You laughed.
"Watch this!"
You pushed your way up and over the bars so that you were sitting on them.

"Hey, don't break those!" The red-head friend said.

You frowned.
Was she being serious?
Only one way to find out.

"I'm not that fat!" You yelled, half laughing.

'Am I?' You worried a little.

The other girls laughed.

You laughed along and swung down from the bars.

"Where to now?" A blonde friend that had been sitting behind you said.

"We could go to the school? Check things out... Be bad?" Red-head said.

You scrunched up your face.

"No, we aren't Greasers." The blonde scrunched her face up as well.

You nodded. "Yeah. What about Dairy Queen?" You suggested.

Loading your face with ice cream didn't sound that bad at the moment.

"Yeah! Good idea, lets go." Your blonde friend said.

This night couldn't get any better.

After everyone was off the playground, you all walked past the gate where the entrance was.

Two boys, ages around 16 or 17, walked in as you walked out.

"Oh, boys!" The blonde girl behind you drooled.

You turned around to get a better look at them.

They were Greasers.
They had long hair, slicked back.

One was tall with very dark hair. He was wearing a leather jacket. The second was shorter with brown hair, and he was wearing a jean jacket.

"They're cute." The red-head turned around and followed them.

This was one thing you hated about your friends. You always got dragged into boy situations, and you hated it because you acted like a goof around them.

"Lo..." You said, turning around.

You already had a huge dumb grin on your face.

One of the boys turned their heads around, then said something to the one in the jean jacket.

The boy in the jean jacket then turned around and waved.

The other girls giggled, but you stood there with a red face and laughed.

That's what you did in awkward situations.

You laughed, and it made you feel stupid.

The younger looking boy looked at you and laughed.

"Come on, Johnnycake." The taller one turned around to face you and your friends.

'Johnnycake' followed his lead.

You almost wanted to hide, but instead you acted dumb.

Johnnycake was cute.

He was an average height with light brown hair and brown eyes. He had a scar just under his left eye.

"Looks like we got us some admirers, hey Johnny?" The taller one nudged Johnny.

"Looks like it." Johnny looked kind of embarrassed.

The girls laughed again.

He wasn't looking at you, and that made you a little bit upset.

If he wasn't looking at you, he must have been interested in one of your friends.

What a shame.

He seemed so cute and cuddly.

"What're you're names?" The taller one asked as he lit a cigarette.

"I'm Jo, that's Lola, and she's (Y/N)." The blonde said.

You just stood there smiling stupidly.

Johnny finally looked at you.

"Hey." He smiled back with an awkward look.

You looked down, laughed, and tucked your (Y/H/C) hair behind your ear.

You felt Johnny's eyes on you.

It made you feel special, but it also made you feel stupid.

"Alright Johnnycake, lets go. These ladies was probably goin' somewhere special." The older boy grinned and put a hand on Johnny's shoulder.

Johnny nodded.

"Alright Dallas, lets go." He said, putting his hands in his pockets.

You smiled to yourself.

He was cute.

This was the only time you might thank your friends for dragging you into something like this.
